Absolutely the best!

The Seattle Food Tour of Belltown and Pike Place Market was even better than advertised! Our guide Bronwyn was a delight -- both personable and knowledgeable, she made the 2-1/2 hours pass all too quickly. The food stops provided a good overview of the area's offerings -- a great Seattle latte (with artistic cream design), the Monkey Bread from Macrina Bakery, the world's best clam chowder and a terrific smoked salmon (not shrimp) cocktai at two purveyors in the Market; a little-known Mexican food find; and Tom Douglas' famous coconut cream pie. What a feast! We may do it again on our next Seattle visit and perhaps learn about some other hidden treasures.

Our tour guide was extremely professional, knowledgable and personable. She really made the tour interesting and fun. The food was wonderful. Even though I live in the area, I learned some history plus got some great recommendations of places to eat out. I recommend the tour for both tourists and locals.

Having lived on the Eastside my entire life, I took the tour to find out more about Belltown and Pike Place. The tour was very informative, I learned history about Seattle I never knew! The food we sampled was delicious and the tour guide very nice, energetic and definitly knew her stuff! I was very pleased with this tour and would recommend it to locals and visitor alike. It was a great day!

Great way to learn about amazing dining options

What fun! As an Eastsider I was always a little out-of-sorts in the "big city" and never really knew where to dine when I did venture across the bridge. Lucky for me, I bought this tour as a gift for my dad's b-day. We had a great time and learned so much, not only about the great restaurants in Bell-town and the Pike Place area, but about Seattle history, as well. The tour owner (Bronwyn ) is knowledgeable and friendly. You'll love her. Oh yeah -- did I mention all the delicious treats you will get to try along the way? Enjoy!

Browyn was our guide on Friday and did an excellent job. We loved everything about it. We've been here 2+ years, and Browyn showed us around areas we knew, but we found many more restaurants were there. The pace was great, the tastes were fabulous. We fully intend going back to most places we stopped at for a bite. We're in a walking group on Bainbridge Island, so we plan to tell all our walking friends about this great little tour. Oh, and we'll be back too when we have out of town guests! Thanks Browyn! It was fun.

Great Intro to Belltown and Pike Place

I took the Seattle Walking Food Tour for several reasons. One, my husband and I are planning to move to Belltown, and I wanted to get an overview of the area. Two, I love sampling foods from different parts of the country. And, three, I wanted something fun to do while I was on vacation. The tour didn't disappoint! Our tour guide was great, and her enthusiasm for her hometown was obvious--and contagious! I've taken similar tours before, and you can always tell which guides love what they're doing and which guides look at it as just a job. Our guide definitely fell into the former category. I was also impressed that the tour was held even though there were only two of us signed up--and, again, that the guide seemed just as excited about showing our small group the city as she would have been showing a much larger gathering. The other gentleman who was on the tour also seemed to be quite impressed with it. Although he had lived in Seattle for many years, he said that he learned all kinds of new things about the area. I will definitely take my husband and other friends and family on the tour in the future!

I would recommend this to anyone but especially locals. Bronwyn was wonderful, informative and I learned several new things even though I have lived here most of my life. We will be visiting many of the restaurants on the tour!

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun, the restaurants that we ate at were fun and the food was Great; our guide's interest in our tastes and what we wanted to know made us feel as though our questions were viable. She had a vast knowledge of the area and its inhabitants. The tour was well planned and coordinated, it was an easy walk dispite the hills of downtown Seattle. We have lived in the Seattle area for eighteen years and have a new appreciation for the Belltown area and some fun destinations to look forward to thanks to our Guide Bronwyn . We as a group would highly recommend this tour as a fun way to see and learn about a part of Seattle that we know so little about. From breakfast thru dessert it was a fun and filling escapade.

I recently did this tour with my 80-year-old mother (the pace was fine for her). I am a Washington native transplanted to Boston but visit Seattle often and have good friends and family there, so I think I'm fairly knowledgeable about the Seattle food scene. I learned a lot and the food we sampled was delicious! As advertised, we did not need to eat lunch after the tour. In fact, we took home the smoked salmon in a ziplock bag because we just couldn't eat all the food. Another woman on the tour had a good suggestion for Seattle visitors--do the tour on your first day in Seattle so you have time to visit some of the places you will learn about on the tour. In fact, my mom and I ran into her at one of the restaurants we learned about the next day. I highly recommend this tour!

Bronwyn is a wonderful guide

It was a delight to take this tour with Bronwyn. She was enthusiastic about showing off her city and had lots of interesting tidbits of info. The taste stops provided generous samplings of truly delicious food (and coffee). That evening I went back to one of the restaurants she recommended (La Fontana) and enjoyed a wonderful lamb dinner with the perfect ambiance and service. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour and culinary history of the Belltown and Pike Place areas of Seattle. I am a native of the area and had no idea some of these places existed. My friend from Idaho had a fabulous time and can hardly wait to come back with her daughters and sister-in-law for the tour. I would definitely recommend the tour to my friends here and from out of town. It was a very easy, leisurely walk with one small hill. The sampling of food was a great taste of the Northwest. A special thank you to Bronwyn, our guide, for the wonderful information and recommendations. I am looking forward to possible expansions to other parts of the city. Keep up the good work.
