| I found out about this tour from Tripadvisor.com. It was rated the #1 tourist activity in Seattle, and the reviews were so enthusiastic that my boyfriend and I considered it a must-do on our trip. By the end of the tour, we were incredibly confused as to why everyone gave it such rave reviews. The tour was 2 and a half hours long, with way too much talking. Our tour guide was obviously knowledgeable about the restaurants in the area, but instead of just taking us to the places where we were going to sample food, she took us to a bunch of restaurants just to show us the exteriors and talk about the menus-- thanks, but I have a Zagat guide. Overall, the eating portion (which was admittedly tasty) probably took about 45 minutes, and the remaining hour and 30 minutes was boring and a waste of time. If you are the type of person who doesn't like to explore or research on your own, this tour is for you. If you are happy with a guide book and a sense of adventure, steer clear. | ||||||

| This was our first walking food tour. Not only was the information provided educational and informative, but the food samples were generously portioned and delicious! We were stuffed after the tour, and can't wait to do other walking food tours in the future! Definitely highly recommended! | ||||||

| The Seattle Food Tour of Belltown and Pike Place Market was even better than advertised! Our guide Bronwyn was a delight -- both personable and knowledgeable, she made the 2-1/2 hours pass all too quickly. The food stops provided a good overview of the area's offerings -- a great Seattle latte (with artistic cream design), the Monkey Bread from Macrina Bakery, the world's best clam chowder and a terrific smoked salmon (not shrimp) cocktai at two purveyors in the Market; a little-known Mexican food find; and Tom Douglas' famous coconut cream pie. What a feast! We may do it again on our next Seattle visit and perhaps learn about some other hidden treasures. | ||||||

| We had a really great time on this tour. Steve was our guide and gave us a quick overview of the market. The food we sampled was delicious. All four in our group had a great time. Would tell anyone that is was worth while. | ||||||

| I think this tour is especially good for locals. I've lived in the area for 14 years and am a total foodie, but I still learned a lot. And the samples were great! The guide is also very good about accommodating people's food requests/preferences. Half of us weren't latte drinkers, so we were able to get hot chocolate instead. I am allergic to cilantro, so she made sure the sample at the Mexican restaurant was cilantro-free. Thanks for a fun morning! | ||||||

| A local friend recommended we take the Seattle Food Tour while in town. This was a wonderful tour with a very knowledgeable guide. She took us on a walk through town and to a variety of restaurants for samples. The food samples were just the right size and delicious. I would highly recommend this tour and would take it again when we are in town. Five Stars!! | ||||||

| Would recommend this tour to all types of people or groups. Only comment of improvement would be the tour guide's volume of voice. I had difficulty hearing her a number of times. Interesting history of area shared along with descriptions of local restaurants menu items and well appreciated comments on chefs, prices, happy hour and making of reservations. | ||||||

| My husband and I have lived in Seattle for 6 years and have made countless trips to Pike Place Market. When my in laws were in town visiting from out of state we decided that it would be fun to take the tour. We had looked at several tours of the market and decided on this one mainly because of the price. I was immediately pleased to find that our tour did not include the head sets and microphones that other tours included. We did not stick out like sore thumb! Our guide, Heather, was wonderful and made us feel like we were a member of her family. She gave us a lot of interesting history on the market and vendors. Being a local, I was pleased that there were only two stops along the tour that I had visited previously, the rest were new. It really opened my eyes to how many places there are to visit in the market. My favorite stop was the crumpet shop. The butter and honey melted in my mouth! The tour ends at the Pink Door which was a wonderful last stop since we had a large table and several plates of antipasto. We ended up buying several food items from the stops that we visited and were able to extend our tasting spee at home. I would recommend this tour to locals and tourists (both adults and kids) | ||||||

| Started out at the Tea Tasting - very good and informative. Guide (Steve) was very knowledgable and seemed to have good relations with the many vendors we visited. All the food tastes were delicious, and the antipasto plate at the Pink Door was a perfect finish. Lots of history and local knowledge. Recommend this tour!! | ||||||

| very nicely done tour with tidbits on the local food scene but also the history behind the chefs, buildings and history of the area. Really enjoyed it; Bronwyn our tour host was very personable and we had a nice small group of 5 only so we could goof around, ask plenty of questions and get to know each other a bit. Highly recommended and well-worth the value. | ||||||

| We loved the tour despite the cold rain but it started a little late and ran about 45 minutes over. The food tastings were awesome and it was a great way to get acclimated to the town - we went back to Macrina's a couple more times! | ||||||
