Went on the Seattle Food Tour with girlfriends to celebrate my birthday! Had a great experience and enjoyed some fabulous food. Bronwyn was a fantastic guide and taught me fun facts and history about the city where I have lived all my life. Highly recommended tour for both locals and visitors. Save room for the last stop at the Dahlia Bakery, the dessert is MMmmm, MMmm good!

Our tour guide was extremely professional, knowledgable and personable. She really made the tour interesting and fun. The food was wonderful. Even though I live in the area, I learned some history plus got some great recommendations of places to eat out. I recommend the tour for both tourists and locals.

I took the Seattle Walking Food Tour for several reasons. One, my husband and I are planning to move to Belltown, and I wanted to get an overview of the area. Two, I love sampling foods from different parts of the country. And, three, I wanted something fun to do while I was on vacation. The tour didn't disappoint! Our tour guide was great, and her enthusiasm for her hometown was obvious--and contagious! I've taken similar tours before, and you can always tell which guides love what they're doing and which guides look at it as just a job. Our guide definitely fell into the former category. I was also impressed that the tour was held even though there were only two of us signed up--and, again, that the guide seemed just as excited about showing our small group the city as she would have been showing a much larger gathering. The other gentleman who was on the tour also seemed to be quite impressed with it. Although he had lived in Seattle for many years, he said that he learned all kinds of new things about the area. I will definitely take my husband and other friends and family on the tour in the future!

I am an event coordinator for an executive of a large corporation. I assist in coordinating a lot of staff recognition and team-building meetings and events. I learned from another event coordinator of a big local company about Seattle Food Tours. My experience taking this food tour was great. It was fun and informative. Although Seattle has been my home for nearly 15 years, there was a lof of interesting history of Bell Town and Pike Place areas that I didn't know about. The extremely friendly tour guide led us around and pointed out different old buildings to us with full descriptions of their history. We tasted delicious food from several different resaturants. Good food, good exercise. It will definitely be a fun thing for our team to do as an informal team-building event as some of our team-players are from out of town. In the future, when we have some board meetings in Seattle, I will schedule these tours for the board members' spouses to do, too. The Seattle Food Tours will be good for a group of 10 - 20 people or even up to 30 as I was told that they could provide more than 2 tour guides for bigger groups.

The food choices were great - a good mix of Seattle. Loved the fact that we visited restaurants that we had not heard of. The tour was just the right amount of time and distance. I would highly recommend this tour to both locals and out of town guests.

I have taken my mom (who lives in Seattle) in this tour based on the recommendations given by other travelers. The group was made of 10 people (incl the guide) and it was fairly entairtaining. We stopped at 5 restaurants and each time we tried 1 course. Greek- we had 3 spreads with pita), sushi - we had 2 types of rolls, tapas bar ( one kind of appetizer), italian- 3 gnocchis with truffles, american bar- one crabcake each .. etc. Then there was a bakery where we had a brownie and last, a wine bar where we had a glass of wine.. I would not recommend this for anyone with food allergies/ picky taste because you have no say in whats given to you. Thankfully my mom and I tried everything out of curiosity, but if she were my husband... it would have been a waste of money and time, since ure not told beforehand what they have in store for u at each place. If ure open-minded and have few hrs in Seattle to kill , is worth the 50 dollars/pp to get a bit of history (told by the guide) together with 5 different flavors of Seattle cuisine.

I really enjoyed the food tour. The restaurants were interesting and it's great to find out where are the good places to eat. The tour guide provided lots of interesting information, both about the restaurants and about Belltown itself. I would definitely recommend this tour to others!

Our tour guide Heather was awesome. She gave wonderful tidbits about the markeyt and had gave inside scoop about local favorites. Small group of eleven made the tour manageable and not overwhelming. Food sampling was yummy and diverse. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I went on this tour after getting strong recommendations from her parents. They were right as this was a fantastic time and a great way to get to know down-town Seattle. Our tour-guide was a lot of fun, informative and best of all, took up to some great restaurants to get a flavor of the best that Seattle has to offer. In addition, we learned a lot about the history of the area which I always find interesting. Be warned, if the weather is wet make sure to dress warm and bring an umbrella as there is a fair bit of walking involved! But, it is a great time and I highly recommend it to anyone that loves great food.

Great overview of some local restaurants

My husband and I (who have lived in Seattle 6+ years) signed up to take this tour with a friend who was visiting from Chicago. The reason we were motivated is because she wanted to try a bunch of different restaurants, and we wanted specifically to try some of the newer restaurants scheduled to be on the tour. We really enjoyed it; the food was really good, the company was great and the bit of history thrown in along the way from the guide was really interesting and worthwhile. It's a walking tour so you get to walk through downtown/belltown a bit which is nice (depending on the weather) and the amount of food/wine you get for the price is fair--you'd spend the same on a dinner at a nice restaurant with wine, etc. Try it! It was fun! You get to speak to a few of the chefs and learn what inspires them, where they get their produce, etc, and meet some nice out-of-towners!

Great way to check out Belltown

This was our first weekend away from our toddler. We really enjoyed the tour, as we don't get out much and we felt like this was a way for us to experience some of what Belltown had to offer as tourists in our own area. We only live a short 30-40 minutes away, but never get to downtown, and now we know of several great places to take friends from out of town! Tthe amount of walking was perfect and leisurely. Steve was able to tell us about some of the history of that district and also about each of the history of the restaurants and their owners, which we found really interesting! We even lucked out and one of the chefs came out to talk with us about her experience on the nationwide tv show "Top Chef." We definitely recommend this to out-of-towners and also people like us, tourist in our own town! Completely worth the 50 bucks!
