| We have taken tours all over the states and all over Europe, and this ranks with the very best of them. Take it your first day in Seattle and you'll know where to eat for a month. What a great idea: local history, places to eat, and samples all along the way! Do it. You will not regret it. | ||||||

| My daughter in law and I joined the Friday morning tour with Carol. We started at a lovely little bakery, and ate our way across an informative and fun two+ hours. My daughter in law is 27 and lives in Seattle, I am from Portland; yet we had never heard of many of these restaurants. We tasted many delicious sample, learned about Belltown and Pike's history, and got helpful reviews of many fine and diverse restaurants. I highly recommend this tour for anyone. | ||||||

| Our guides were Steve and Heather. To be 100% truthful, every single place that we ate at in Seattle was a recommendation from them and every single place was worth it. If you are not one of those tourists that does the cliche things and enjoys going off the beaten path, these guys are perfect for you. These guys know the city and they are extremely helpful with that knowledge. An absolute pleasure to have been a part of their tour. It was actually Heather's first tour and she showed she would be a keeper. Next time I come to Seattle, (and there will most definitely be a next time) I will be sure to catch at least one of their tours. A most sincere thank you for the experience. | ||||||

| I brought my out of town guests on this tour. I'd been to the market many times before, but this tour was certainly off the beaten path. I learned so many new and fun things about the market, and about many of the owners. The restaurants and stalls we visited were superb, the food tastings were lovely and varied, and I will definitely bring other visitors in the future. What a delight! | ||||||

| We thought the tour was superb and would highly recommend this to anyone. Carol, our guide, was knowledgeable, fun and accomodating and the combination of history for the neighbourhood and description of the various restaurants, plus the selected food samples were first rate. Our only regret was that we didn't get the chance to take this tour the day before, when we arrived in Seattle, because we would have had an extra day to sample some of the restaurant suggestions that Carol had for us. An excellent two and a half adventure in the city. - Ian Hamilton | ||||||

| I recently took my 18 year old daughter to visit the beautiful UW campus. Our stay in Seattle was going to be short and we decided to take this tour on a Satrurday morning prior to our departure that same afternoon. We both loved it! Not only did it help us discover the real culinary dimension of Seattle (which we were shamefully unaware of), but it also was fun going from place to place trying great food and sharing comments with the group. Also, our guide was great. | ||||||

| Michael, our tour guide, did a superb job with this Belltown tour. It was a great mix of history, the Seattle food scene, restaurant visits, architecture, and great food and drink sampling. The tour also had a great personal touch. At each restaurant we learned about the owners, chefs and, in most cases, either the owner or chef greeted us. It was a great mix of establishments as well covering the entire food universe. Now I have some "must go to" restaurants on my next visit to Seattle. Another unexpected outcome from the tour was the opportunity to meet and talk with fellow tourists who, like ourselves, were there to learn and experience the best of Belltown. It made for an even more enjoyable tour as the congeniality of the group occurred almost instantly. | ||||||

Terrific Tour for Visitors or Locals

| I was visiting Seattle for a long weekend and was, coincidentally, staying in Belltown. This tour was a perfect way to learn about the area from a local resident. Our tour guide, Michael, demonstrated a real passion for food and for the City of Seattle: well-informed, funny, and fun to tour with. Whether explaining individual restaurant's history, showing vintage photos of Belltown's past, or pointing out spots where famous grunge bands rehearsed and performed, our tour was entertaining and informative. The tour visited several restaurants, an outstanding bakery, and a wine bar, tasting and talking our way through them all. I would recommend this tour to anyone, tourist or Seattle resident. | ||||||

Finding The Best of The Market

| This is an enjoyable way to see the market, learn its history, and be introduced to some of the finest merchants. I visited on a very very busy day, but our group moved through the crowds easily, sampling and talking while we toured. The guide was really well-prepared and made the tour a memorable event. | ||||||

| My husband and I composed the entire group for this tour. The guide, Penny, was informative and enthousiastic while presenting a history of Pike Street Market . We sampled delicious and interesting foods from many of the market"s producers and were introduced to many who talked about their specialties. This is a most worthwhile tour. It provided an intro to the market that we could not have gotten on our own. | ||||||

| We are a local couple from Seattle and we loved this local food tour of Pike Place Market. We absolutely loved our host, Penny. Her knowledge and passion for her tour was palpitable. I am a transplant from all-over USA and spent much time studying Seattle history to acclimate myself to my new home. Penny is right up there with the local history and lore and we suggest to anyone to take this tour (local or otherwise.) If we were going to split hairs; we sure would wish more vendors would associate themselves with the tour and allow us to "munch" more. Good eats. | ||||||

| Small portion and cheap food were served. Did not get the much out of those award winning chefs. Bad timing and foods were made ahead of time. | ||||||
