Excellent tour guide, Bronwyn. She was thorough,Interesting and informative. Great people person. Gave us wonderful tips and ideas. All of the tastings were great. We found the list very helpful along with the information provided on the tour. We got to try some place that we may not have otherwise tried. We read the reviews on this sight before signing up. They were accurate. I would do it again if in the area on another visit. Well worth it.

What a great way to learn about Seattle and sample delicious food along the way! A MUST for anyone new to the city. Our guide was delightful and very organized. Great historical and practical information about Seattle. Perfect to plan your dining for the duration of your trip. No need to plan for lunch on the day of the tour - you won't be hungry. Samplings were generous and varied, (from latte to chowder to chocolate, and more). Wear your walking shoes, bring your appetite, and ENJOY!

If you're in Seattle for travel, I recommend you take the tour on your 1st or 2nd day in town. We took the took on our last day in Seattle and regretted not knowing about more places to dine. The tour was great and the the tour guide was good at adding some history or a little story about the different parts of town we walked through.

Bronwyn was our tour guide and was very pleasant and factual. We learned about the neighborhood history as well and backgrounds of many restaurants. I would have liked a few more food samples. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

The tour guide knew interesting facts and details that greatly added to our knowledge of the Bell St. area . My husband and I have visited Seattle once a year for the past 20-25 years, so I thought we knew quite a bit about the Pike Place and its surrounding area. She only enhanced our appreciation of the cafes and restaurants in this location. The walk was paced perfectly. It was low key and the food was wonderful! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn a bit about the local food scene.

We began our tour at a Belltown bakery, with water bottles, a restaurant list and sample bag in tow, we were on our way with Bronwyn, our tour guide at the helm- wetting our morning pallets with "monkey bread" fresh from the ovens of the Macrina bakery and Cafe. Bronwyn was friendly and very knowledgeable about local restaurants, foods and Seattle history. The walking was leisurely with some steep hills but when you're sampling all these goodies, it was good exercise. The tour made it's way through a fish market, a coffee house, terrific restaurants, chocolatier, bakeries and more. Bronwyn told us about the history of chef's and restaurant owners and about Seattle's history as well. My husband and I found the almost three hour tour most enjoyable. Bronwyn, gave us great restaurant recommendations for that evening, told us to get reservations, what to order. She was enthusiastic, well versed, and for a person that by her own admission, doesn't cook, she was very up on all that was happening inside and outside the kitchens of local eateries. Take her tour early in your trip so you know where to eat around Seattle . We highly recommend this tour! It was great!

Bronwyn was a delightful guide. The tour was a great way to learn about eating (and drinking) establishments in Seattle. Try to take the tour at the beginning of your stay in Seattle, so you can take advantage of all the great tips.

Good Tour, Could Be Better
Seattle Walking Food Tour of Belltown & Pike Place

We took this tour after having taken a Pike St Market walking tour from a different vendor a few days earlier. The other tour was better. One key improvement that could be made to this tour would be to provide earphones & a wireless mike for the guide. The Pike St Mkt tour used that equipment & we got a lot more communication from the guide as a result. On this tour, street noise & hubbub from the Market & other places really made it difficult to hear the guide without being very close to her. I would have also liked more interaction from restaaurant owners/chefs that we got. I was also puzzled about the lack of comments given about some restaurants. On the flight in to Seattle, I read an article about Seattle eateries, and one that was mentioned prominently was 94 Stewart...yet we walked right past it on the tour without a word being said. All in all, a good tour that could be improved.

What a wonderful way to get to know Seattle. The food was amazing and our group really enjoyed the history of the city that was shared during the tour. We used the restaurant recommendations for the duration of our stay and we were never disappointed. This was our favorite tour in Seattle!

You cannot come to Seattle, for the first time, and not do this tour! Our guide, Braulyn(sp), was excellent. She was so enthusiastic and wholeheartedly wanted us to enjoy the tour. She gave great history on what we saw, lots of information about the food and restaurants we visited, and gave ample time to enjoy the tour. We tasted seven different foods and enjoyed the ambience of each restaurants/eatery. The food was delicious, and all the shop keepers were delighted to have our tour. If you like to eat, this is a must tour. If you are a dieter, go anyway because it is so much fun. We also returned to two of the "tour stops" later in the week to purchase food from them. I don't want to give away the "tour stops", but Pike Place Chowder is to die for!! Yes, we went back there again. My husband went with me, reluctantly, BUT enjoyed the tour as much as I did. He even told people we met later that this tour was a "must". The only regret was the tour was 2-1/2 hours - I could have spent the entire day!!!

Tour guides were friendly, informative , fun and well organized. They shared lots of history of Seattle, were well informed about the restaurants, their food and prices and their history in the city. The best part was the food samples, all of them were generous and yummy! You definitely did not need to eat lunch after this tour.

My husband and I both loved this tour. Our only regret was that we took it on our last day in seattle and so we were not able to hit some of the many great spots we were introduced to here. However, it made for fabulous preliminary research for our return trip in November. It was terrific to have a historical context in which to appreciate the Belltown part of town and great to find out about places like Mario's Fontana resataurant....stuff only an informed local could clue you into. As for foodies......the quality is outstanding and the portions are generous. I may well take the the tour again in November if its offered.....only on the early part of my visit!
