| We learned some interesting history of the area and are excited to try out the restaurant recommendations. The food on the tour was good and not necessarily places we would have ever found by ourselves. | ||||||

| What fun! As an Eastsider I was always a little out-of-sorts in the "big city" and never really knew where to dine when I did venture across the bridge. Lucky for me, I bought this tour as a gift for my dad's b-day. We had a great time and learned so much, not only about the great restaurants in Bell-town and the Pike Place area, but about Seattle history, as well. The tour owner (Bronwyn ) is knowledgeable and friendly. You'll love her. Oh yeah -- did I mention all the delicious treats you will get to try along the way? Enjoy! | ||||||

| I have taken my mom (who lives in Seattle) in this tour based on the recommendations given by other travelers. The group was made of 10 people (incl the guide) and it was fairly entairtaining. We stopped at 5 restaurants and each time we tried 1 course. Greek- we had 3 spreads with pita), sushi - we had 2 types of rolls, tapas bar ( one kind of appetizer), italian- 3 gnocchis with truffles, american bar- one crabcake each .. etc. Then there was a bakery where we had a brownie and last, a wine bar where we had a glass of wine.. I would not recommend this for anyone with food allergies/ picky taste because you have no say in whats given to you. Thankfully my mom and I tried everything out of curiosity, but if she were my husband... it would have been a waste of money and time, since ure not told beforehand what they have in store for u at each place. If ure open-minded and have few hrs in Seattle to kill , is worth the 50 dollars/pp to get a bit of history (told by the guide) together with 5 different flavors of Seattle cuisine. | ||||||

| My husband and I had such a fun time touring Belltown with Steve. We had never experienced a food tour and we were so grateful for Steve and his group for organizing such a fantastic overview of the area. He is so personable and informative. The restaurants and their staff were so open to our group and the food selections were outstanding. | ||||||

| Michael provided lots of Belltown history, both recent and from the 1800's, including photos, and personally knew the chefs and owners of the spots he took us. Everything we ate and drank was tasty and representative of the hottest spots in Belltown. We made a dinner reservation at Branzino for the next evening while we were there on the tour, and the meal was one of our all time favorites, and we're from the Bay Area! It was a great way to open our visit to Seattle, and helped us feel knowledgable and comfortable throughout our stay. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in restaurants and food. | ||||||

| Our VERY knowledgeable tour host Penny was absolutely the best in the business. She made the tour a HUGE success and extremely interesting. I'm not a "tour" person but her enthusiasm and knowledge of Pike Palce Market were outstanding. If you are looking for a informing and enjoyable tour, this is it. I HIGHLY recommend Seattle Food Tour and especially the hosting provided by Penny. Thanks | ||||||

| My husband and I have lived in Seattle for 6 years and have made countless trips to Pike Place Market. When my in laws were in town visiting from out of state we decided that it would be fun to take the tour. We had looked at several tours of the market and decided on this one mainly because of the price. I was immediately pleased to find that our tour did not include the head sets and microphones that other tours included. We did not stick out like sore thumb! Our guide, Heather, was wonderful and made us feel like we were a member of her family. She gave us a lot of interesting history on the market and vendors. Being a local, I was pleased that there were only two stops along the tour that I had visited previously, the rest were new. It really opened my eyes to how many places there are to visit in the market. My favorite stop was the crumpet shop. The butter and honey melted in my mouth! The tour ends at the Pink Door which was a wonderful last stop since we had a large table and several plates of antipasto. We ended up buying several food items from the stops that we visited and were able to extend our tasting spee at home. I would recommend this tour to locals and tourists (both adults and kids) | ||||||

| My husband and I joined a group of tourists from England for the food tour. Penny was our guide. Penny did a wonderful job of including a lot of information about the history of the market as well as the specifics regarding the places of business that we were visiting. We did not visit any place of business that we did not thoroughly enjoy. The food was wonderful and the tasting of some of the food was a new experience for me. The tour was a good way to get an introduction to the market and the various businesses in the market. My husband and I went back to several of the places in the market after the tour was completed. We had a wonderful time and I would certainly recommend the tour to anyone that would like to learn more about the market or likes to taste a variety of foods. | ||||||

| I recommend this to anyone who has not experienced the Market Place! Our guide was great, we were given an opportunity to shop as well as behind the scene access and the history of the place is interesting to say the least. | ||||||

| I've been on quite a few food tours. The food on this tour is on par with the best selection I've encountered. The food ranges in variety, the restaraunts are intimate without being pretentious- we even got to speak with chefs. I did feel that the tour lacked some personality. To me, food tours are a great way to sample great food while learning about a unique section of a city- I felt this part of the tour was lacking. The guide was friendly, but while speaking about the area was not engaging. In short- amazing food, decent tour. | ||||||
