| Mostly trips to places with free samples and not really that much history involved. It's okay if you have a couple of hours to kill but I wouldn't pay for it again. Would rather pay more and eat more. | ||||||

| My husband and I enjoyed the tour very much. We had no idea what to expect and were pleasently surprised. Our guide was knowledgable about the area - interesting bits of information and history and the samples of food and drink were much to our liking. We would definitely recommend this. | ||||||

| My cousin and i visited seattle for the weekend and decided to give your food tour a try. Neither one of us had ever gone on a "food tour" and did not know what to expect. We did not regret our decision. We both enjoyed the walk around Belltown, learning about the local history and enjoying the food stops along the way. I think the only two recommendations I would make is that it would be nice if there was a pork alternative at the Longhorn Barbecue and a milk alternative at the Cherry Street Coffee House. Although I did not have a problem with the food offering, I would think that some people would not be able to eat pork and some are dairy intolerant. Otherwise, We both enjoyed the tour, the food, and the whole experience. Thank you! Victor | ||||||

| As good as the food was, learning about the development of Belltown was fascinating. This tour allows one to get some insight into the character and development of Belltown, something you'd never really get if you just walk through the neighbourhood. Also our guide, Bronwyn (spelling?), had a great depth of knowledge of the area, as well as the different restaurants, their owners and their stories. Although the tour is for Belltown and Pike Place, about two-thirds of the walk was in Belltown. The other third was in Post Alley, just adjacent to the main and more touristy section of the Pike Place Market. A bit hard to hear the guide when large trucks and traffic go by, but our guide was enthusiastic and always willing to answer questions. All in all, food for the mind for those interested in hows, whats and whys and food for the stomach for those who want to know the good places to eat. | ||||||

| I brought my out of town guests on this tour. I'd been to the market many times before, but this tour was certainly off the beaten path. I learned so many new and fun things about the market, and about many of the owners. The restaurants and stalls we visited were superb, the food tastings were lovely and varied, and I will definitely bring other visitors in the future. What a delight! | ||||||

| My husband and I were visiting from the Houston area and happened upon this tour via the internet. When we arrived for the tour, we were warmly and graciously greeted by Bronwyn. She was terrific! A tour is only as good as the tour guide her/hisself. We cannot extol enough the enthusiasm and historical knowledge that Bronwyn had. We truly enjoyed the diversity of the restaurants pointed out and the food tasted. We liked the fact that the foods were not all the same and that the portions were not just bite-sized. In all that we did while visiting Seattle for eight days, this was truly the highlight of our tour. We even recommended it to several people from our hotel--who were stangers--who asked what they should do while in Seattle. | ||||||

| This was a wonderful tour. We had five people in our group ranging from 5 to 76 years old and there was something for everyone. We even had one diabetic. Carol, our guide was so informative and entertaining. The restaurants were diverse and the samples were all fantastic. There were enough stops that the walk was not too strenuous for the older members of our group, and although it was a little boring for the youngest member the places we stopped went out of their way to include him with samples that he would enjoy. | ||||||

| Penny, our tour guide, was upbeat, informative, personal and likeable. The food was delicious and just the right amount. I appreciated the history and funny stories that she used. Time well spent. I especially enjoyed the Tea Shop where we tasted many different types of tea. And the smoked salmon, the gelatto, the list goes on and on. Thanks for offering this tour. Peace, Twila | ||||||

| My husband and I (who have lived in Seattle 6+ years) signed up to take this tour with a friend who was visiting from Chicago. The reason we were motivated is because she wanted to try a bunch of different restaurants, and we wanted specifically to try some of the newer restaurants scheduled to be on the tour. We really enjoyed it; the food was really good, the company was great and the bit of history thrown in along the way from the guide was really interesting and worthwhile. It's a walking tour so you get to walk through downtown/belltown a bit which is nice (depending on the weather) and the amount of food/wine you get for the price is fair--you'd spend the same on a dinner at a nice restaurant with wine, etc. Try it! It was fun! You get to speak to a few of the chefs and learn what inspires them, where they get their produce, etc, and meet some nice out-of-towners! | ||||||

| My husband and I traveled from out of town, but I grew up in Seattle. I brought my friend and her 4 year old son. It's a lot of walking for smaller children and he was thoroughly tired by the end. I wouldn't recommend a stroller since it can get crowded in Pike Place Market. From a local's point of view, it was great to learn some interesting facts about Belltown, but even better, it was great to try some good food and learn about restaurants I have always wanted to try but never made the time. My husband, who is notoriously unenthusiastic about going on tours, really liked it. Pros: good info, good food, appropriate portions, enough exercise to walk off the calories. Cons: you'll want lunch afterwards, but now you know where to go! | ||||||

| The guide was great. She made a special effort to talk to each guest and find out if there was something we were looking for. Since we had locals, she pointed out facts that we might not have known. The food was great. I wish I had kept notes! Will do it again! | ||||||

You become more familiar with different areas, learn about food, restaurants, history, architecture, & culture in a very easy to digest fashion. Our guide was wonderful - she shared a wealth of information in a fun, likeable, sincere manner. Highly recommended! | ||||||
