| We have taken tours all over the states and all over Europe, and this ranks with the very best of them. Take it your first day in Seattle and you'll know where to eat for a month. What a great idea: local history, places to eat, and samples all along the way! Do it. You will not regret it. | ||||||

| Carol our guide was friendly and informative, but the tour was not as I expected (hoped). I imagined a kind of progressive brunch, beginning with a Latte and a warm muffin (to be eaten sitting down) and then progressing through other "courses." We began at Macrina, but standing outside in the freezing cold. We got an apple coffee cake thing from Macrina (which was cold) which I didn't care for, then we went immediately to pork barbecue. (I'm vegetarian) Somewhere a little down the line, we had a chocolate, followed by salmon salad. We ended with a wonderful tiny piece of cocoanut cream pie (served cold, in the cold). I would recommend a different progression, vegetarian options at every stop, and no "out on the sidewalk standing up" eating. I'd also make sure each place had a significant contribution to make. One little place (Xtori) seemed very friendly, but we didn't even get a chance to sit at the counter (although no one else was in there) and their offering was a tiny tiny (quarter of a sugar cube) piece of cheese on a stick and a thin thin dime-sized piece of smoked meat (which I couldn't eat)- It's a nice idea- I hope it modulates into a progressive brunch. (Of the offerings, my son said the salmon salad was good, and we both liked the sweets) | ||||||

| This was such a great experience. The hostess was so knowledgable - about the city, the sights, the restaurants, the chefs and the history. We only wish every city would make something just like this available. It was a tremendous resource and we used it over and over again during our stay in Seattle. We only ate at restaurants that she told us about - and she was right on in every case. If you can't tell, we loved it and would recommend it to everyone. We were able to experience things that we never would have on our own - and the tastings along the way were great - had a wonderful /breakfast/lunch during the two hour tour. Do it - you won't regret it! Best money we spent on the trip. | ||||||

| On a cloudy, cold, windy ( so typically Seattle) morning we were warmed and charmed as we walked the streets of Belltown and the Pike Street Market - by the end of the tour we were all talking and laughing with each other as we enjoyed many tidbits from the several restaurants and just wished we were staying there for a couple of weeks so that we could enjoy the many recommended eateries!! A super tour!!! | ||||||

| Three of us took the day off from work and walked the tour. We loved it. Great food and very interesting Seattle history. Our tour guide did a great job of providing information, staying organized and making for a fun day. Who knew that 1st Avenue had such a restaurant variety. We will be back and share this experience with friends. | ||||||

| The tour leader is knowledgable about the local eateries, Chefs and Seattle history. She sprinkles little tidbits throughout about Belltown and how it came to be what it is today. Along the way, she describes highlights of resturants and their specialities. I will keep coming back to this particular tour anytime I have family or friends who haven't yet experienced the best tour offered in Seattle. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed this food tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. The food samples were plentiful and we came away with a very good idea of how wonderful the food selections are in Seattle. We also got a nice slice of the history of the city. I would recommend this tour to anybody. | ||||||

| While the places we saw and our tour leader's talk about them was delightful, I would have liked to have seen the inside of the kitchens or have had more talks from the people who made the food . I guess I was expecting more of the "chocolate lady" who talked about what she used and why. However, if one is interested in learning about the restaurants and which one or which ones to try , then this is a great tour filled with information about the restaurants . When you finish the tour, you will want to spend more time in Seattle just going to the different restaurants that you have heard about. | ||||||

| Having been born and raised in Seattle, I've visited the Pike Place Market many times. However, during the Seattle Walking Food Tour I learned many interesting historic facts about the Belltown area and was introduced to many new restaurants, shops, and bakeries in the Pike Place Market and Belltown areas. Both locals and tourists will enjoy this informative and fun tour. | ||||||

| Bronwyn's was very informed and gracious host. We loved her interaction with the group and with the places of business. We are from Olympia but this tour has spurred our interest in returning to Seattle to enjoy more of the Big Cities LOCAL FLAIR, and naturally continue with the major sporting events, plays, music events that we are used to attending. Thank you! | ||||||

| This tour was recommended by a native Seattleite(?). And how glad we took her recommendation. It was great! Tour operator - Bronwyn, or Robin to the rest of us, was so interesting and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the history and especially the food! If we are back in Seattle - we would take it again. | ||||||

| You cannot come to Seattle, for the first time, and not do this tour! Our guide, Braulyn(sp), was excellent. She was so enthusiastic and wholeheartedly wanted us to enjoy the tour. She gave great history on what we saw, lots of information about the food and restaurants we visited, and gave ample time to enjoy the tour. We tasted seven different foods and enjoyed the ambience of each restaurants/eatery. The food was delicious, and all the shop keepers were delighted to have our tour. If you like to eat, this is a must tour. If you are a dieter, go anyway because it is so much fun. We also returned to two of the "tour stops" later in the week to purchase food from them. I don't want to give away the "tour stops", but Pike Place Chowder is to die for!! Yes, we went back there again. My husband went with me, reluctantly, BUT enjoyed the tour as much as I did. He even told people we met later that this tour was a "must". The only regret was the tour was 2-1/2 hours - I could have spent the entire day!!! | ||||||

| We had a great time sampling the treats of Seattle while seeing the sights in Belltown and Pike Place Market. Our guides were very knowledgable and accomodating and gave us not only a great taste of the food ot the area but also a good sense of the history and development that shaped Seattle. If you take this tour and we highly incourage you to do so, do it at the beginning of your stay because you will get many wonderful tips on great restaurants in the area . When we return to Seattle we will probaly take this tour again just to see if there is anything that we might have missed. The experience and the latte alone are worth the trip. Bon appetit, Jerry and Cheryl Brookfield, WI | ||||||
