| Our tour guide, Heather, was fabulous. She was very welcoming and got to know our group quickly. We were moved through the market expertly on a very busy Saturday. Even though we had been to the market several times, she showed us several hidden gems that we plan to visit again in the future. Our entire group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the tour including the food. Thank you! | ||||||

| The tour provided a great overview of Seattle, with some interesting bits of history, a glimpse into the public art and a nice overview of Seattle's culinary scene. Even though I have worked in the area for years and pride myself in keeping up with the restaurant scene, the guide introduced us to some hidden gems. Places that are normally not covered in the restaurant reviews, but should not be missed. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic in sharing her love of the city and the Northwest cuisine for which the city is famous. A most enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed this food tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. The food samples were plentiful and we came away with a very good idea of how wonderful the food selections are in Seattle. We also got a nice slice of the history of the city. I would recommend this tour to anybody. | ||||||

| We had beautiful weather, a great guide and wonderful food. Very informative and interesting learning about Belltown and the early history of Seattle. Food was wonderful at each stop and my only negative would be is it would be nice if some of the servings were a little more substantial in order to actually have a full dinner along the way. The portions were nice, but just not quite enough to make a full meal... but I would do it again and recommend this tour to anyone visiting or living in Seattle. Also, our guide made this tour truly worth it !! | ||||||

| Our guide, Penny, was an enthusiastic, energetic tour guide. She took us on a varity-filled food tour. We tasted smoked salmon, gelato, crumpets, etc. The list goes on and on all while she gave wonderful information about the market place history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. | ||||||

| I took this tour with my parents who were visiting from Boston. I've lived in Seattle for seven years and work in the restaurant industry. The history of Belltown and the Market were very interesting and I definitely learned a lot. The restaurants we stopped and sampled at were great; some I had not been to before. This is a great tour to take at the start of a vacation, because you get lots of great restaurant recommendations. My parents have taken similar tours in Boston and appreciated the fact that on this tour the group got to sit down at the six or seven main stops, instead of standing for 2 1/2 hours straight. I would recommend it for locals, as well, since there was so much Seattle history given on the tour. | ||||||

| Living in Seattle for 30 years, I thought I knew plenty about the city, but I learned more in one enjoyable afternoon than my 30 years combined. Bronwyn's passion for history, plus the fables and stories she shared along the way made for a very entertaining tour. The food was fabulous and people along the way were pleasant. I would recommend this walk to anyone. Locals should book it when friends, relatives or business collegues come to town as an excellent way to spend a few hours together in a relaxing, yet lively setting. | ||||||

| This was a very easy and tasty way to experience a different area of the city. The food was really diverse and very good. Steve did a good job of explaining the history and showing us around. I was surprised of how much this area of Seattle has to offer in great cuisine. | ||||||

| Bronwyn, the guide for my tour, was early to the meeting site and obviously eager to show off the Belltown area. Her communication skills and sense of humor made for easy rapport, putting a group of strangers at ease for 2-plus hours. She was well informed and brought historic photos along to help us visualize changes which had occured in the Belltown district. Bronwyn included a List of the restaurants and eateries in the area, which proved extremely helpful during the rest of my stay. There were several locations offering samples, including fresh baked bread, clam chowder, chocolates and alder smoked salmon. Given the busy streets, construction zones and up-hill-down-hill terrain, it could be noisy and tiring. Good walking shoes and casual dress to match the outdoor conditions are a must. I made a point of selecting several of the restaurants from the list for lunches and suppers and was not disappointed with any of them. I will be keeping the List and using it the next time I visit Seattle. Or I can always take the tour again as a refresher! | ||||||

| Every restaurant we went to was excellent. The Spanish one was probably our least favorite, but it was still good. Our tour guide Michael was great. We found there was a little to much history, it was good, but if there was a little more talk about good restaurants on the tour, that would be great. We did not like the fact that we had our first sampling, and it was about an hour before our second sample, but it picked up after that! Would have liked a few more tasting's, but it is a great tour for locals looking for great restaurants! We really enjoyed it and would recommend it, we are looking forward to coming back for the Pike's Place Market Tour! | ||||||

| In imperfect weather, we were able to experience (for us in a perfect way) a taste of Seattle. Melinda and I planned this break from our 6 children. We did NOT have much time to spend in Seattle. This venue was perfect for us to experience the highlights of great foods in the Belltown/Pike's market area. We arrived late, and wasted 30 minutes waiting at the third resteraunt for the group. But we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. No excuses for being late (we were 12 mins late), but we would have preferred to join the group at whichever resteraunt they were in. We had a GPS, so we could have easily found our group. However, we were guided to meet at the 3rd resteraunt, and waited there for 30 mins. But this is truly an experience we will always remember! | My husband and I moved to Seattle a few months ago, we noted a number of restaurants that we'd go back and try - based on the samples or the recommendations of the guide. However, my parents were visting from PA. They noted that they enjoyed the tour, but thought it was better suited to locals - who would have time/interest in coming back to visit the restaurants spoken about but not sampled. A lot of conversation was spent talking about "down this street there's a great Mexican restaurant and a bakery..." But, snipits of info on 40 restaurants isn't useful to people in town for a weeked. I think a better experience for tourists would be focusing on "Seattle staples" or samples @ notable resturants or food from notable chefs, then discuss more about seattle architecture (as you walk by the bldgs) or history - either of Seattle or the food. The number of samples was good, though more would always be better :); The portions were surprisingly large; Everything was delicious! | ||||||
