Absolute Must for a "Foodie" Seattle Walking Food Tour of Belltown & Pike Place

This is a must for local and tourist alike. I've lived in Seattle 20+ years and didn't know many of the secrets and history shared on this tour. The places we stopped for food/samples were great and delicious. The pulled pork sandwich from the Frontier Room was amazing! Bronwyn our guide knew her stuff. Appreciated the insight she gave into good places to eat. Now if I can just find the time to return to them and indulge my taste buds. This tour is well worth the money, time and an inch on your waist line!

I came across information about the food tour on line and thought it sounded fun. My friends and I had no idea what to expect! We've been to Seattle on many occasions but usually hit the same spots. This was great opportunity to see a different part of downtown and find a lot of fun boutiques, restaurants, and specialty shops. We are planning our next trip to Seattle and will definitely include the food tour again! It's that fun!!

You MUST do this tour at the BEGINNING of your trip so that you can visit all of the recommended restaurants in the days after!!!!! I regret taking my boyfriend on the last day of his trip because I would have loved to try the food with him at so many of the places we walked by and were told about. Bronwyn is awesome--a blast to listen to and hang out with. You can tell she loves her job! I'm going to recommend this tour to any family or friends who come into town for 3 days or more. You should go!!

As a local, it was wonderful to visit and have pointed out restaurants that I didn't even know were there. Bronwyn's knowledge of the area was inciteful. The samples of the food were very good and filling by the end of the tour. Loved it and would recommend it to friends.

My girlfriend and I make it a point to solicit and follow up on restaurant recommendations from our friends yet we greatly enjoyed the Seattle Food Tour. The history, pacing, and, of course, the samples were all well crafted.

We're locals visiting places we already knew, but for the first time in a long time, and visiting places that have opened since we were in that neighborhood regularly. Enjoyed all. Great to hear the history and learn more about our own city. And the camaraderie of other food-focused people on the tour was good, too. Hard to believe it was two miles, but then we were really prepared -- good walking shoes, etc. Go hungry. :-)

We had such a great time, the Tour was outstanding; a wonderful blend of history, architecture, and urban evolution. And that is not even getting to the food, which was great. We heartily recommend this for locals and not so locals, we had a fabulous time.

Totally enjoyed the Seattle Food Tour. Very knowledgable guide with great enthusiasm for the subject and area. We've lived in the area 14 years and were introduced to several places we've never thought to try ourselves. We had heard of some other tours that were less informative and less personal and were fortunate to discover this tour after reading an article in the Puyallup Herald. The tour provided a great overview of Seattle, with some interesting bits of history, a glimpse into the public art and a nice overview of Seattle's culinary scene. Even though I have worked in the area for years and pride myself in keeping up with the restaurant scene, the guide introduced us to some hidden gems. Places that are normally not covered in the restaurant reviews, but should not be missed. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic in sharing her love of the city and the Northwest cuisine for which the city is famous. A most enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend.

We are local and I wanted to do something fun and special for my husband's birthday. So, I invited his closest friend and his wife and surprised him with this walking tour. We had a delightful time. Dress warmly for this tour and you'll get the most out of it since it is mostly outdoors. We learned so much more about the Market and Belltown restaurants and history on this 2 1/2 hour tour than we did living for 7 years at South Lake Union. It was a blast learning so much about our old neighborhood -- we're planning several November dinner dates at the restaurants we were shown by our guide. During November you can try a host of great restaurants for $30 for a three-course meal.
