thistour was a great introduction to some of Seattle's food and history! the tour guide was very fun and knowledgeable, she could answer any question we had whether or not it was on the tour. everything we amplex was fantastic and clearly chosen with care. i definitely recommend this tour for in or out of towners! i'm absolutely going to check out the tour in Chicago now! thanks!! :)
Worthwhile Seattle Walking Food Tour of Belltown & Pike Place

Overall worthwhile experience. Tour also includes info regarding the Belltown and Market center. Tour guide was very pleasant and informative....But if you read the internet info, keep in mind that the restaurants they say you will tour aren't necessarily so. I had read that we'd visit a Japanese and Vietnamese restaurant and was looking very forward to that, but we went elsewhere.

This was a very unique tour. I not only sampled some wonderful Seattle cuisine but learned about Seattle's history too - especially of the Belltown area. I don't eat meat and was well taken care of. We were equipped with a water bottle, a list of all the restaurants recommended during the tour and several discount coupons. Our tour guide was quite sweet and the rhythm of the tour was very good. I highly recommend it!

This was my second visit to Seattle after 10 years. The tour gave me a good feel for the area, great ideas for dinner options (I went back to four places) and was great to do on my own while my traveling companion was working. Our guide was very personable and obviously loves the city.

The Seattle Food Tour was definitely one of the best parts of my trip to Seattle! Bronwyn was an excellent guide and not only introduced me to some of the great restaurants of the area, but also provided a very nice overview of some of the history of the city. It was truly a unique experience and one of the best "tourist" activities that I have ever done. I actually think that it would be a fun thing to do even if you live in the area. This tour is a must!

I recently relocated to Seattle from Kansas City, MO. My new apartment is in the Belltown area. Each day I walk by many intriguing restaurants and bakeries, but hesitation of the unknown deters me from checking them out. This tour was fabulous in providing the necessary introduction to the neighborhood, as well as adding some unique historical elements that many of the true locals on the tour weren't aware of. The food samples were AMAZING. The variety of the group was fantastic. And the walking part of the trip was an added bonus to help work off those extra calories. This was a fantastic way to enjoy a taste of Seattle, and learn about the history, and mix with others who enjoy food!!! The walk was pleasant,the group were all foodies,and we had a wonderful time. Bronlyn was just wonderful-explaining the history and culture of the area. She also made sure my food challenges were me-which I appreciated! I will recommmend this tour to EVERYONE.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Seattle Food Tour. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and all the food I sampled was delicious. I enjoyed learning about the history of Belltown. The recommendations on places to go for dinner were quite helpful. I have recommended family who live in the Seattle region attend this tour--it isn't just for out-of-towners!

My Food Tour of Seattle was more than fun, it was an event. The tour revealed fabulous restaurants that could be missed by the average visitor. My guide was very personable and strived to make the tour memorable. The tastes, smells, and visual experience of the tour will long be a favorite memory of this recent visit to Seattle. I took the Seattle Walking Food Tour for several reasons. One, my husband and I are planning to move to Belltown, and I wanted to get an overview of the area. Two, I love sampling foods from different parts of the country. And, three, I wanted something fun to do while I was on vacation. The tour didn't disappoint! Our tour guide was great, and her enthusiasm for her hometown was obvious--and contagious! I've taken similar tours before, and you can always tell which guides love what they're doing and which guides look at it as just a job. Our guide definitely fell into the former category. I was also impressed that the tour was held even though there were only two of us signed up--and, again, that the guide seemed just as excited about showing our small group the city as she would have been showing a much larger gathering. The other gentleman who was on the tour also seemed to be quite impressed with it. Although he had lived in Seattle for many years, he said that he learned all kinds of new things about the area. I will definitely take my husband and other friends and family on the tour in the future!

It was a delight to take this tour with Bronwyn. She was enthusiastic about showing off her city and had lots of interesting tidbits of info. The taste stops provided generous samplings of truly delicious food (and coffee). That evening I went back to one of the restaurants she recommended (La Fontana) and enjoyed a wonderful lamb dinner with the perfect ambiance and service. Thank you!

I am an event coordinator for an executive of a large corporation. I assist in coordinating a lot of staff recognition and team-building meetings and events. I learned from another event coordinator of a big local company about Seattle Food Tours. My experience taking this food tour was great. It was fun and informative. Although Seattle has been my home for nearly 15 years, there was a lof of interesting history of Bell Town and Pike Place areas that I didn't know about. The extremely friendly tour guide led us around and pointed out different old buildings to us with full descriptions of their history. We tasted delicious food from several different resaturants. Good food, good exercise. It will definitely be a fun thing for our team to do as an informal team-building event as some of our team-players are from out of town. In the future, when we have some board meetings in Seattle, I will schedule these tours for the board members' spouses to do, too. The Seattle Food Tours will be good for a group of 10 - 20 people or even up to 30 as I was told that they could provide more than 2 tour guides for bigger groups.

I wish I had taken this tour my first day in Seattle instead of my last day. What a great way to become acquainted with the fine eateries in the Bell Town and Pike Place Market areas. The samples were delicious and varied, providing something for all tastes, and the tour guide is knowledgeable not only about the food, but city and architectural history as well. Highly recommended for fun and good eats.
