Nice Meeting You Pike Place Market

| This was an easy meet and greet at the south end of Pike Place Market. For those who are unfamiliar with this territory, the tour offered a great overview of Pike Place, a bit of the history surrounding it, and a fun sampling of the food. Our guide was knowledgeable and likeable. It gave me and my buddy some great ideas for later in our trip, as well. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour for newbies to Pike Place. It's definately worth the bang you will get for your buck. | ||||||

| I really enjoyed my tour of the Pike Place Market! Steve gave us the background and history of the market along with showing us the ins and outs and the little details of the market as well. The food we tasted was delicious and the owners of the shops were quite welcoming. Steve was quite knowlegable about the market and the foods we were tasting, but seemed to stumble over his words throughout the entire day, making him a little hard to listen to at times. Overall, the tasting tour was a great way to see the market! | ||||||

| I liked most of the things that we tasted and I wish that we had tasted some Piroshkies. I thought our tour guide was very personable and knowledgeable about the city and the places we visited. I would definitely recommend this tour to tourists and fellow Seattlites. | ||||||

| I've been to Pike Place Market many times but since I was entertaining guests from out of town, I decided to take them on a food tour. Several of the places we went to were new to me and Heather did a fantastic job making it fun and interesting. Enjoyed all the samples very much (and so did my friends). It was a big hit! | ||||||

| The culinary walking tour of Belltown was a great combination of history and food. I enjoyed the variety of the food sampling because each restaurant had its own character in terms of menu as well as atmosphere. The added bonus of a top-notch bakery and wine bar was the icing on the cake, so to speak. The tour guide, Michael, was superb. He added much to the success of the tour with his own personal knowedge and sense of humor. | ||||||

| I was looking for an outing activity for my teenage goddaughter and me. Shamefully though a Seattle resident for over fifteen years, I don't frequent the Market as much as I should. It was a great way to spend a few hours - snacking, snapping pictures and soaking in more of our city's history. I now have a couple of more stops to make at the Market than I did before - Pike Place Chowder and The Pink Door. Our tour guide was very entertaining and really made it extra fabulous! | ||||||

| For those interested in FOOD, and wanting to explore Pike Place Market, there is absolutely NO better experience that this tour! The young woman leading the tour was knowledgeable, efficient, organized, enthusiastic, energetic, and great fun! She knew the quiet spots where she could give us a bit of history, the view spots to enjoy a beautiful view across the Bay, the rest spots, and the unusual and interesting spots with a history of each, and what made them worth visiting! I recommend this tour above all others in Seattle, and I've done them all! | ||||||

| We had Heather as our tour guide and she was just awesome. My friend and I actually got seperated from the group for a short time and she kept calling my cell phone until we got back together again. We truly enjoyed our tour through the market place and all the great foods that we got to try. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys trying new foods and exploring new places. | ||||||

| We are a group of Seattle locals--friends who get together for dinner every couple of months to socialize, experiment with new recipes and seasonal specialties, try out new restaurants, wines and cuisines. The Belltown tour is a great way to explore some of Seattle's best up-an-coming as well as established restaurants and get to know more of Seattle's very colorful history while you stroll. We have already been back to visit a couple of the places we visited on the tour. Branzino was my favorite stop and the Local Vine is a great place to wind down. | ||||||

| We loved this tour! I was introducing a friend to the splendors of the Pacific Northwest and of several days spent in Seattle, this was by far our favorite thing to do. It is unique, interesting and delicious and the guide is not only informative but lots of fun. | ||||||

| I felt that the tour focused on just what I wanted to learn about the Market. The establishments where we stopped to sample food were varied and places I felt the locals might stop to eat. We ate at Pike Place Chowder and the Pink Door (both are on the tour). The food was excellent and you can’t beat the Pink Door’s view on a beautiful summer night. | ||||||

| Our guide, Penny, was an enthusiastic, energetic tour guide. She took us on a varity-filled food tour. We tasted smoked salmon, gelato, crumpets, etc. The list goes on and on all while she gave wonderful information about the market place history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. | ||||||

| My friend and I really enjoyed this tour- it was a great way to see the city through a local's eyes. It turned us on to places we would never have found on our own (The Pink Door, The Truffle Shop, Rose's Chocolates, ...). Great mix of education (the history of the Market was great!), food and kitsch (the gum wall was certainly unique). Our tour guide Penny was tons of fun, was extremely knowlegable and gave recommendations for the rest of our stay in Seattle. One of the highlights of our time in Seattle! | ||||||
