Great intro to Seattle's best, by the best!

I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Even though there was a slight snafu with the tour guide being sick and the crumpet shop being closed, the professionalism of the owner, Michael, shined through and provided us with a fantastic tour. One can tell that he loves food and loves to show people all about why he loves it. He clearly has taken the time and effort to seek out the best places in the market and he is not afraid to share why. I only wish that we had more time to explore, but our vacation time was limited. We will be back and if there is another tour, we will happily take it.

The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good, but it would have been better if the samples were in a larger size. My group had to eat lunch afterwards.

This tour is a lot of fun and would be good for locals looking for new places to eat or people who are staying here for a while. I loved learning the history of the city and the different businesses we went. The walk is not bad at all. Over all I would recomend this to anyone who is looking for something to do in Seattle.

We were so pleased to be able to find this tour online. The Seattle Convention and Visitor's Bureau should be commended for their capturing activities of interest to those of us traveling through the city. The registration process was easily navigated as was the website from Seattle Food Tours itself. Bronwyn promptly answered an email question posed to her regarding our tour and welcomed us to the city. From the moment we met with Bronwyn, our tour took us to the most delicious spots of Belltown and Pike Place. Starting with the delicious Monkey Bread from Macrina Bakery, through to the delicious chocolates, mouthwatering barbecue, clam chowder to-die-for, smoked salmon, latte (of course), and more (yes, MORE!). We were thrilled to get not only a culinary taste of Seattle, but a little flavor of the history and background of the city and the people who settled here. Bronwyn made us feel that we were citizens of this very cosmopolitan community. The tour helped us to realize how food and drink form such an important identify of this city. We only wish we'd had more time to revisit the locations pointed out to us by Bronwyn. We would have definitely returned for more than a sampling at each and every stop (though I do have to say that we were filled beyond capacity with all the goodies we tasted along the tour). My lady friend is a high school foods teacher and she appreciated learning about the background of the local culture that supported the tasty treats we sampled in this region. Bronwyn had done her homework when she shared the history and significance of these restaurants and specialty shops. Bronwyn and Seattle Food Tours rate an "A+" from this teacher. We would most definitely recommend this tour to anyone wishing to taste good food, good drink, and have a lot of fun along the way. Bring an appetite, wear a pair of good walking shoes and enjoy! Cheers to you, Bronwyn and Seattle Food Tours! We'll definitely make this a MUST-DO tour when we next return to Seattle.

Great tour filled with good eats, excellent history of Seattle Chefs and establishments and lots of humor to go along with it. We returned the next night to enjoy one of the restaurants on the tour.

My wife and I went on this tour after getting strong recommendations from her parents. They were right as this was a fantastic time and a great way to get to know down-town Seattle. Our tour-guide was a lot of fun, informative and best of all, took up to some great restaurants to get a flavor of the best that Seattle has to offer. In addition, we learned a lot about the history of the area which I always find interesting. Be warned, if the weather is wet make sure to dress warm and bring an umbrella as there is a fair bit of walking involved! But, it is a great time and I highly recommend it to anyone that loves great food.

Wow! What a fun tour! This tour, as well as the Pike Market tour, were definately highlights of our time in Seattle. Michael was our tour guide. He was so much fun! He was very well informed and a great communicator. The 2 1/2 - 3 hours flew by so fast. The restaurants he took us to were some of his personal favorites and he personally knew the chefs. We sampled the best sushi, tapas, crab cake sliders, gourmet brownies from a special bakery and a to-die-for rabbit, mushroom, chard wonder, made by Ashley, a contestant on the Top Chef TV show. We had a "photo op" with Ashley as well as were just able to visit with her and ask her questions. We had a glass of wine there. We also went to a wine bar and had another glass of wine accompanied with truffle butter popcorn. Michael told us about a lot of the other restaurants we weren't able to go to, in case we wanted to try them another time. The tour is moderate walking but we were able to sit down at most places. Don't miss it! It's well worth the money and the time! Ned & Diane - Cambridge, IA
