| Having been born and raised in Seattle, I've visited the Pike Place Market many times. However, during the Seattle Walking Food Tour I learned many interesting historic facts about the Belltown area and was introduced to many new restaurants, shops, and bakeries in the Pike Place Market and Belltown areas. Both locals and tourists will enjoy this informative and fun tour. | ||||||

| We would highly recommend this tour to anyone that enjoys great food and an interesting tour. The tour guide was great in entertaining us and informing us of the local resturants and culture of the town. We loved the samples at the different resturants. You will definately leave with some great places to go and eat. She also gave a good overview of the history of the city and details of archiecture of the older buildings. All in all a very informative and excellent way to spend the morning in Seattle, WA. Thanks for a job well done!!!! Thanks again from Mississippi. | ||||||

| We thought the tour was superb and would highly recommend this to anyone. Carol, our guide, was knowledgeable, fun and accomodating and the combination of history for the neighbourhood and description of the various restaurants, plus the selected food samples were first rate. Our only regret was that we didn't get the chance to take this tour the day before, when we arrived in Seattle, because we would have had an extra day to sample some of the restaurant suggestions that Carol had for us. An excellent two and a half adventure in the city. - Ian Hamilton | ||||||

| My husband and I both loved this tour. Our only regret was that we took it on our last day in seattle and so we were not able to hit some of the many great spots we were introduced to here. However, it made for fabulous preliminary research for our return trip in November. It was terrific to have a historical context in which to appreciate the Belltown part of town and great to find out about places like Mario's Fontana resataurant....stuff only an informed local could clue you into. As for foodies......the quality is outstanding and the portions are generous. I may well take the the tour again in November if its offered.....only on the early part of my visit! | ||||||

| We enjoyed this tour. I would recommend going in the beginning of your trip, as they offer many, many suggestions of great restaurants to try. Our tour guide, Carol, was wonderful--very knowledgable about the history of the city, as well as the eateries. We had a very small tour group, which afforded us the opportunity to ask many questions. The food was good and was enough to constitute "lunch" for the day! Overall, I would recommend this tour. | ||||||

| Carol was an excellent guide. She gave us the scoop on some divine chocolate from Rosie. She also steered us to some of the best Marsala we've ever had. Her companion Steve was also adept and spent time with all members of the tour. This tour was great. We had a walking five course meal while getting the lowdown on some of Seattle's finest eats. I would go on this tour again and bring my newbie friends along. | ||||||

| We enjoyed the tour leader, Carole. She was knowlegeable, we could hear her explain the many historical and culinary highlights. The choice of the food sampling was outstanding. I have lived in Redmond for about 2 years and took the food tour on recommendation of local people who took it. The friends I took with me with from New Jersey and are amateur gourmet chefs themselves. They raved about it. | ||||||

| Overall we liked the tour for the most part. A couple of details would have made it fantastic. The description of the tour was accurate, it was mostly outside. When we first met it was a cold and drizzly day, typical for early spring in Seattle. It would have helped to start indoors for the first 10 minutes because 1) The traffic is loud and you can't hear the history of Belltown at times, so that detracts from the experience 2) If we haven't been walking, we aren't really warmed up so standing still in the damp cold was not enjoyable. The hand warmers and bottled water were a nice touch, very thoughtful. The blonde tour guide was very beautiful, thought you wouldn't hear that in a review from a man in his early 30s did ya?! Once we got going and sampled some food things improved. I would say that the least impressive food stop was the Frontier BBQ, the pulled pork sliders were nothing special, the meat tasted like it was done in a crock pot and no smoky evidence that it was slow smoked. The sauce was good but I'd rather have some more of it. The tapas places looked yummy and we were glad to discover them, the sample was great! Overall it was a decent tour, overall value was fair, I felt it was a little on the expensive side. I think $35 would be a more fair price. | ||||||

| The 2 1/2 hour tour was great. We stopped at approximately 10 establishments and all were interesting and had great samples. We had walked around Pike Place Market a few days earlier and had not even noticed most of these great establishments. Penny, our guide, was awesome. She was fun, knowledgable, and passionate about her enthusiasm for the market. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. | ||||||

| The tour guide, Steve is awesome. We had a great time touring Belltown and its restaurants. We had samplers from different restaurants/bakery/bars. Some were great and some were alright. If you don't know what to do in Belltown, then take the tour. | ||||||
