Seg Zone Tours

My Mom is from out of town and we decided to take in Annapolis for the day. The city was beautiful. The weather was perfect. The tour was great. We had an absolute blast on the Segway's. Our guide was very nice, helpful, and did a fine job. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

The website states that tours run rain or shine, but if rain is in the forecast, they will call and cancel at the last minute. I took a day off work to take my international boyfriend down to Annapolis on a weekday to take this tour and they called after we had driven hours to get there and cancelled because it was forecasted to rain, and it never even did! They couldn't even rebook us into a tour over the weekend, they could only offer something more than a week away and said they would call at the end of the weekend to give us a refund and after not hearing from them for more than I week, I finally had to call and request it myself. I'm sure it would have been a great tour, I wish I could have taken it.

Although the segways were not fully charged when we got there and we had to wait an extra 1/2 hour, the tour was great. We had never done this before but the people running the place were patient and explained things fully. Really it's so easy once you get on. Awesome how you can do a 360 in such a small place. Easy to run and to stop. The tour was interesting and our leader was funny as well. I'd recommend it to anyone!

The segways are easy to operate and the instructions were easy to follow. Our Segway guide did a terrific job showing us the sights and making sure our group traveled safely. Riding the segway was worth the price and the tour was an added bonus! Everyone in our group (40+ year olds) had a blast!

So we made it on time to our reservation to find that we were waiting for another group of 5 that ended up not showing up. This meant my boyfriend and I had our own private tour of Annapolis. Nancy and Jesse were both so nice and down to earth. Jesse made our tour fun and interesting- he rode his backwards! We stopped and got off the segways to give us a small rest and Jesse even took pictures of my boyfriend and I on our segways. The segways were so easy to learn and I was nervous but definitely became more relaxed the more we rode the streets and sidewalks. The cool thing is that segways are allowed on the sidewalk as a pedestrian yet also allowed in the road as a car. Overall we loved the tour and would definitely like to come back again to just rent our own and do our own scenic tour of Annapolis. Highly recommend!!

We took the one hour tour. Nice way to get familiar with Annapolis. Jesse did a nice job training us on the Segway and he was a good guide.

Our family ages 14 to 73 had a blast on this tour.

Throughly enjoyed the tour. Next time I will take the two and half hour tour. Since this was my first time , I was more concerned with handling the SegWay.

Segway was so fun. my family and I had so much fun riding on a segway. Our guide, Jesse, did a great job showing us around and even let us have fun racing on the top of the garage! Highly recommended! :)

The historical tour was great... riding the segways on the open road was also a highlight.

We got trained and started out on our 2 hour tour. Then one of the Segways in our group had problems... Our guide called her manager and there wasn't another Segway available to replace it... tough spot to be in! So they gave us the rest of our 2 hours to wander around the town and gave us each a gift card to return for the one hour tour. A tough situation - but I felt that they handled it well. We had fun zipping around town. We stopped at the Visitor's Center and picked up a map and did our own tour. And we look forward to going back one more time!

Annapolis may not be the most exciting historic place in the whole world, but seeing it on Segways made the event even more fun. Our guide, Carol Ann, was extremely nice and made the experience fun even if you don't care about how old a building is or where the Governor lives. Overall, if you have never taken a Segway tour before, I highly recommend it. This will not be our last time enjoying such an experience.

My 23 year old daughter and I took the 1 hour tour and really loved it! The segways were easy to learn and fun to cruise around on. I love history so I would have liked to hear even more details about the things we were passing, but if you want lots of details, a walking tour would be more informative. This tour gave us an overview from the experior of other things we might like to explore more completely and provided us with a great, fun form of transportation!! I recommend it highly, especially for young people.

It was a great tour!!! Riding the segway was a new experience for us, but the tourguide make it look easy and he was very good showing us how to use it. We feel safe all the time. It was very fun and we learn a lot of new things about Annapolis. We highly recommend it. It worth every penny!! :)
