Seg Zone Tours

Our family of 4 went on the 2 hour segway of Annapolis and our tour guide was patient and terrific. The segways are extremely percise and easy to use. Our family ages range from 14 to 45 and we all had a blast - Thank you JD!! I would recommend this activity and will be looking for a segway tour on our next vacation.

Good part was the the guide was allowing the group to drive the segway in the way they want along with explaining things well Improvement would be annapolis tour was for 1and half hour but the tour got over in lesses than that , it would be good idea to manage the time so that it will be more fun

Throughly enjoyed the tour. Next time I will take the two and half hour tour. Since this was my first time , I was more concerned with handling the SegWay.

This tour was well thought out and supervised extremally well. The training on the segway was great and direct. We all learned to ride the segways in a very short time and all did well with them. The tour guide and the helper were very polite and new what they were doing. Hey look I am 74 years old and got a kick out of learning to ride and use the Segway on this tour. If you are thinking of taking this tour do it now you will not be sorry.

All ages had a great time. They thought the leader was fabulous, they learned a lot about Annapolis while learning to ride a segway. We had them do this event together at the beginning of our weekend and it was a very bonding experience. They also enjoyed having some time to practice the segway. This is the second time my husband and I have done this tour and we recommend it to all our friends.

Very easy to get the hang of & a fun way to see the city.

We had a ball. It was fun and we had a great tour of Dover at the same time. Our instructor was great and a great tour giude too. We are looking forword to doing more tours with segway

Debbie was a great tour guide! She imparted all the safety information to ensure a happy conclusion to this adventure. She was very knowledgeable about the Dover, DE tour. This was my first trip on a Segway, but not my last. Thanks for a great time.

I'm really hooked on Segway! This is my 3rd week in a row I'm taking the Segway Tour of Dover. I'm back with 3 friends from NJ. After 3 historical tours of Dover I still learned new things about Delaware. My friends are now hooked too! They plan on coming back with family and friends from NJ. How do you describe a Segway ride? "Have you ever wanted to 'soar' like a bird - but keep your feet on the ground?" " Ride a Segway - It's AWESOME!" My new dream - to own a Segway! Until then Segway Tours of Dover will see me and more of my friends and family again and again!

Well, it's only been one week and I'm back with a family member for another Segway ride. It was nice to learn some history about the state I now call home. However, the free ride in the Silver Lake Park was " AWESOME"! There are no other words to describe the entire experience but AWESOME- AWESOME- AWESOME!! I will be back again!

Ever since the Segway was introduced in 2001 I wanted to try one. Having discovered the Segway Tour of Historic Dover my dream came true! The tour guides / owners were great! The ride "AWESOME"! I'M HOOKED!!! I will be back!

LOVED THE EXPERIENCE IN SPITE OF THE HIGH TEMPERATURES. OUR ONLY REGRET IS THAT WE ONLY TOOK THE 1 HOUR TOUR. NEXT TIME DEFINITELY A TWO HOUR TOUR. ARE NOW LOOKING FOR SEGWAY TOURS CLOSE TO HOME.

At 69 I was very leary of the Segway. 10 years ago we saw them in San Antonio and wanted to do it but our grandson was only 6 and he could not go so we had to pass on it. In doing a search of things to do in Annapolis...every Marylander should visit the capital....I found they offered historic Segway tours. The grand kids 15 and 14 were thrilled, Poppy was okay with it, but I don't like what I do not control...haha.....I had a blast! The training before the tour lasted until all of us were comfortable and as the tour progressed I got better and better...add to our bucket list....a Segway! The guide Carol Ann was super friendly, very chatty and knowlegable of the historic buildings in our state capital. The hour went by so fast and all of us agreed it was a blast in Annapolis. I am so glad I bought the tickets on line and was all ready to go when we arrived at the door. Though a bit 'pricey', it was worth every penny to hear my family delight in it all the way back to Frederick. They each asked for a Segway for Christmas but at $5000. each...that's not likely. It was a fast and fun way to see the historic buildings and decide which you want to walk to after the trip. Go...you'll be so glad you did!

I have been on several walking tours of Dover, but I learned something new on this tour. The highlight, of course, was traveling around via the Segway. It's not hard to master. In fact, it gets better each time you get back on it. Mike was my tour guide. He showed a great interest in Dover's history, people and buildings. Mike was always very helpful and polite. His descriptions and explanations were excellent. I liked the fact that the tour used not only the tour guide's knowledge, but also a docent at the Old State House and a pre-recorded device for some of the other sites. This was a great Father's Day gift my wife gave me. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone.

A beautiful day. After practicing on Wii, it took Joanie two minutes to learn to use the Segway. It took Ray 20 minutes to learn and find out the horizontal rotation arm controls could be used to balance out the fore -aft leaning control. Like riding a horse, getting on and off the Segway took some practice. Then off we went. The tour of downtown Dover was perfect to learn Segway, and see the sights too. On Sunday with few pedestrians and little traffic on the streets , riding on streets and sidewalks was a breeze. We could have gone for a bit longer and didn't want to quit.
