Segway of Hawaii has been featured on numerous travel shows in Japan, the US mainland, and Canada.

The Segway Personal Transporter (PT), invented by Segway LLC in New Hampshire, is a safe, smart and environmentally friendly transportation device. The Segway PT has the potential to alleviate congestion and pollution throughout Hawaii, not to mention, it's a unique, fun way to see the Honolulu area!

Activity Description
Your Segway of Hawaii Swim & Glide experience will begin with personalized training by our expert Segway guides. Instructions are a breeze as you effortlessly learn to glide your very own Segway Personal Transporter (PT) right in the heart of Waikiki.

Then, leave the Village behind and begin your journey through scenic Honolulu where you will:

  • Experience breathtaking views as you glide on the boardwalk surrounding the Hilton Lagoon
  • Glide by the famous Ilikai Resort as your Guide explains just how it came to be so renowned
  • Catch one-of-a-kind views of the multi-million dollar yachts that line the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor
  • See Ala Moana Beach Park and Magic Island as you wind along the coastline after crossing the Ala Wai Canal
  • Wind past the remarkable banyan trees that grace the park and provide shade for local residents
  • Visit sunny beaches where you can experience spectacular views of Diamond Head, the surfers, ocean, sand, and fun!
Along the way, we'll park in various places so you can swim and play in beautiful lagoons where turtles are known to lie on the beach and bask in the sun.

Please note the special, extended morning tour, during which you'll have an additional 30 minutes to explore more of the park and "free-range" while staying within sight of the group.

On the tour, we provide a guide for every 3 - 5 guests and limit our groups to 12 -15 max.

What Is Not Included?
Food or drinks are not included in the cost of the tour, but you will have opportunities to stop at snack bars along the way. Be sure to bring extra cash if you might want to purchase something!
