| My only criticism is the webside promotion. You say there can be no changes of schedule except for weather, and then only a credit for a future tour, and no refunds allowed. I almost decided against the tour because I felt the policies too rigid. IF THE TOUR OPERATOR CANCELLS THE TOUR BECAUSE OF WEATHER OR ANY REASON, A FULL REFUND IS IN ORDER. It is unreasonable to think that I would return at a later date. I live 350 miles from Santa Barbara. |

| Our Segway tour of Santa Barbara was very enjoyable. We were joined by a couple about our age from upstate NY, and we had a very good time together.
Our tour guide, who grew up in the area, was very personable, knew the area and it's history, and made the two hour ride much fun.
I'm sure we will return for the longer S.B. Mission tour, and will definitely recommend this to friends and family. |

| We got to Segway SB 15 minutes before the start time to take some pointers from "Bill" on how to ride. My son and I picked up on the tecnique of riding a Segway pretty fast (I'm 62 years old). Soon we were scooting around the premises before the beginning of our well-led tour (about 2 hours). Bill led the tour as well. We both had a great time seeing Santa Barbara from another perspective. We have already recommended the tour to family and friends. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!!!
Sincerely,

| The tour started with individual training on the Segway i2, which my wife picked up quite rapidly (I already had an hour in St Petersburg, Florida the week before) and then we were off, gently at first, up State Street toward the old center of the town. Our guide was friendly, informative, and always polite to the pedestrians we passed - he had to remind one motorist that he shouldn't do a right on red right into us, we were in the bicycle lane with a green light-but perhaps that's how that gentleman treated cyclists too! Then off the main street and into the ancient center - on streets, through alleyways and at one point right through an indoor passageway! - the ease of control and ability to not annoy the walkers was great. The downtown parks, so well explained, history as well as botany, and a bit of "all-terrain" across the park. The 2 1/2 hours were over all too soon. A really fun way to see more of a town up close, without the problem of walking at the pace of the slowest in the group. Only downer - Segway Santa Barbara has an insurance policy that insists on helmets being worn. That needs to be changed to one where you can sign a waiver, as they have in Florida - the helmet was tougher and heavier than the ones used even for horse riding - uncomfortable, unnecessary (the Segway is so easy to control and stop) and intrusive. |

| We're a group of active seniors. It was scary at first - sure we'd tip over, but Jerry was patient and understanding at teaching us and by 10 minutes into the tour we felt like pros.
We enjoyed seeing the sights and hearing the history but the most fun was just riding and finding out what the "scooters" could do. |

| Incredible fun, assisted by personable and intelligent guide/instructor. Segways were easy to master, and we saw much of Santa Barbara that we probably wouldn't have been able to see on our own. Have every intention of going again, soon. |

| This is a great activity. The people in the store are friendly and professional.
The parking situation though is horrible. We found paid parking in walking distance with parking spots named after celebrities and an interesting individual watching and charging the fee (1 dollar for 30 minutes, first 30 minutes free). Tour took 2.5 hours, so paid 6 dollars, not too bad and cheaper than any ticket.
Minimum size is two people per tour. Make sure that whoever will go with you doesn't peter out (there is really no reason for, it's simple and easy and safe as long as you listen to the trainer/guide and relax). There is a no refund policy, due to the guide, that needs to be paid etc. tours cannot be moved to another date!
This is probably by far the most interesting way to see Santa Barbara. Riding a Segway is fun. I did it for the first time and after 10 minutes training you get the hang of it and off it goes over sidewalks and bike paths through the city.
The tour was very informative and the Segway is the most flexible way to get around without walking yourself blisters. I felt soar in my lower legs for two days, so you get some good workout there too, but in the most fun way without breaking sweat.
The mobility of the machine is just amazing and the ease and simplicity of use is stunning. This was a wonderful experience that I will definitely repeat. If I would work and live in an urban area I'd rather buy and use one of these gyro driven miracles than a bicycle to get from A to B. It's less bulky and way more fun.
Thanks to the staff of St. Barbara Segway. You guys are great! |

| My wife had taken the son of some Swiss friends of ours on this tour last year. They had such a blast that when my nephew was visiting us from Oxy, we decided to treat him to the tour too. This was my and his first time, and it was more fun than humans should be allowed to have. It is very easy to pick up how to operate it (5 minutes max). Within about fifteen minutes it felt like we were born with a Segway between our feet. It is that intuitive. It was a great way to visit the town of Santa Barbara. There are places that you can go with it that you would not even dream of. Our guide made sure that everyone was riding safe and gave us a great tour of some of the hidden and not so hidden architectural gems of downtown Santa Barbara. All and all, a great way to spend a couple of hours trying out some new (or not so new) technology.
Thanks SB Segway. |

| We have done segways before this at Disney. Segways are easy to learn to ride, and a lot of fun. We especially liked the history of the downtown area we have been through many times before and not noticed, and the various local parks that we visited. Jerry was great tour guide. |
