| Seqways are fun. It's as simple as that. My wife and I drove up for the day from Los Angeles. We had never ridden one before and were able to pick it up extremely quickly thanks to the expert training. We took the Segways out just for an hour on our own (as opposed to a guided tour). We drove along the beach and it could not have been more beautiful. The renters and guides are extremely friendly and knowledgable. I'm sure the guided tours are great. We'll definitely do it again and probably bring friends and family. |

| This was a really fun and educational thing to do! I'm a big fan of alternative transportation, and $40 was a good deal to learn a lot about how the Segways work, and be able to go anywhere I wanted for another hour.
I did not realize that the balancing would take tai-chi-like concentration, but that turned out to be a good thing -- the ride was actually exercise! |

| Our group rides motorcycles, making the training on the Segway very easy to learn. We were up and doing figure-eights and no-hands riding in less than 10 minutes. The Segway was so easy to manuever and ride along the streets. It was a blast being on it for the first time.
Only opportunity for improvment, is providing more direction on where you can ride for an hour. We rode the bike path along the beach (in both directions) twice, and still had lots of time to see other things. With limitations on where you can ride the Segway on the streets, we were unsure of where to go safely. Next time we may want to take one of the organized tours so we can go onto city streets and see more of the sights.
This was a great way to spend an hour or so having fun in Santa Barbara. |

| I gave the Segway 1 1/2 hour Free Glide as a Christmas gift to my neices (age 17 - 24) and brother (age 46). The six of us received a 1/2 hour of very thorough training - we were split into two groups so the instruction was very individualized. Learning how to ride the Segway was nearly as much fun as the 1 hour ride along the beachside bike path.
It was a great activity for our family - the girls liked it better than a gift card or stuff they don't really need! We can't wait to go again!

| With patient instructors and a few minutes of practice, we were on our way to an hour and half of fun in the sun. Santa Barbara is a great town to explore on a segway. There's plenty to do and see and the time went quickly. The reservation system was quick and easy, the place is centrally located and it was a great experience. I would definitely do this again. |

| The Segway's are as easy to ride as they seem. We had never touched one before our visit. We took the self guided tour and the staff did an excellent job of teaching us how to ride in the first half hour. We got to ride another hour on our own along the well planned bike paths that parallel the Santa Barbara beaches and marinas. Our whole family enjoyed the novelty while the general public was envious. If you take the tour, be prepared; everyone will ask where you got those from and how much is it. Santa Barbara is a beautiful coastal town and this method of transport allows you to see things you would otherwise miss on a bus or in your rental car. We highly recommend this experience. Our children are seventeen so you should enquire about the age and or height limit before renting.
