| This is a great activity. The people in the store are friendly and professional. The parking situation though is horrible. We found paid parking in walking distance with parking spots named after celebrities and an interesting individual watching and charging the fee (1 dollar for 30 minutes, first 30 minutes free). Tour took 2.5 hours, so paid 6 dollars, not too bad and cheaper than any ticket. Minimum size is two people per tour. Make sure that whoever will go with you doesn't peter out (there is really no reason for, it's simple and easy and safe as long as you listen to the trainer/guide and relax). There is a no refund policy, due to the guide, that needs to be paid etc. tours cannot be moved to another date! This is probably by far the most interesting way to see Santa Barbara. Riding a Segway is fun. I did it for the first time and after 10 minutes training you get the hang of it and off it goes over sidewalks and bike paths through the city. The tour was very informative and the Segway is the most flexible way to get around without walking yourself blisters. I felt soar in my lower legs for two days, so you get some good workout there too, but in the most fun way without breaking sweat. The mobility of the machine is just amazing and the ease and simplicity of use is stunning. This was a wonderful experience that I will definitely repeat. If I would work and live in an urban area I'd rather buy and use one of these gyro driven miracles than a bicycle to get from A to B. It's less bulky and way more fun. Thanks to the staff of St. Barbara Segway. You guys are great! | ||||||

| The folks at Santa Barbara Segway do a great job. They safely guide you through a well thought out route. There is plenty of time for photos and the guide was a wealth of local information. | ||||||

| This was my second time on a Segway, the first at Disneyland. It was my husband's first time. We had a GREAT time and can't wait to do it again. The tour is the way to go, saw parts of Santa Barbara that we never would have seen, and felt very safe with the instruction and the instructor. We will go again on our next trip to Santa Barbara and will look for tours wherever we travel. Thanks for the opportunity!!! | ||||||

| My husband and I took the Butterfly Beach Segway Tour and thoroughlly enjoyed it. We found the Segway easy to learn to ride and the scenery was great. We will probably take another of the Segway of Santa Barbara's tours the next time we are in town. | ||||||

| The segway ride was the highlight of my Santa Barbara trip with my 15-year old son. It totally exceeded our expectations. It was fun, exciting, and my son said it was "awesome"!! The tour guide was helpful, and informative. On a scale of 1 to 10, it is a 11+!! | ||||||

| My husband and I only live an hour south of Santa Barbara, but didn't know much about our own backyard. The Mission Tour was wonderful. Not only did we learn about the history of the area, but we were able to see the beauty that is Santa Barbara. This is no boring bus tour. You're outdoors and on the sidewalks of this green and luscious town. The tour guides were friendly and informative. We had a blast. We'll definately be back for the other tours..and we'll bring some friends next time. | ||||||

| wonderful training before we got started... I felt comfortable and confident by the time we began. Guys very patient and very relaxed teaching us. We have been to Santa Barb many times, so the tour itself wasn't necessary for us, but I think I could have given better info to newcomers. tour guide also got a bit sidetracked on politics which we really didn't want to discuss on our vacation.... but, I mentioned that and we got on our way. My husband was a bit negative about the activity... he was never really able to get comfortable and relax.... he wouldn't go again, but I definitely would! | ||||||

| I had already done a Segway tour in San Diego, but this was my girlfriend's daughter first time, so we decided to surprise her with this, and take a tour all three of us, i loved it, i think i will take a longer tour next time, 2 hours just seems to go by too fast. | ||||||

| I loved the segway tour of the city!!! t was fun, fast & a great way to get an overview of the places to revisit later in more detail. It was a fast way to see many of the sights that would have taken days on foot or trying to find in my car, leaving many days to go back & see some of the areas in detail. also a great way to find restaurants for later. | ||||||

| This was a surprise outing, mainly becuase I didn't think my wife would want to try the Segway, I was right, she was extremely hesitant to learn but after the guide ask her to give him five minutes to show her how, I couldn't get my wife off the thing. The tour was very nice and the guide informative, The guide was very consience of the fact we were "begginer riders" and was always on the watch for us. the scenery was excellent and we had a blast I highly recommend this tour. PS I was so enthralled that I would like to start my own Segway business. | ||||||

| riding the segway was so much fun we couldn't believe it! it's so natural and goes exactly where you want to go. the tour was also great, the tour guide told us lots of little things we would never have known about the area, and saw lots of great sites that would not have been practical on foot or by car. this is indeed the best way to see santa barbara! | ||||||
