| We upgraded to the tour of the city and trip to the mission and were not disappointed. The mission tour was 3 hours long. Our guide had us on our segway in about 20 minutes. She told us just what to do and we didn't have any trouble learning how to use the segway. You couldn't ask for a better way to tour the city! | ||||||

| Our Segway tour of Santa Barbara was very enjoyable. We were joined by a couple about our age from upstate NY, and we had a very good time together. Our tour guide, who grew up in the area, was very personable, knew the area and it's history, and made the two hour ride much fun. I'm sure we will return for the longer S.B. Mission tour, and will definitely recommend this to friends and family. | ||||||

| My husband and I truly enjoyed the Segway Tour. We rode along the beaches of Santa Barbara. Our tour guide was fun and gave us some information about Santa Barbara. Learning how to ride the Segway took about 5 minutes. It was so cool being on them. We definitly recommend this tour. It's fun for all ages! | ||||||

| My husband and I recently took this tour along the beautiful Santa Barbara coast. We were nervous about riding the segways because they looked complicated and tricky to ride. Once we had a chance to take them for a spin during the short training course, we were hooked. It was one of the most fun activities we have ever done on vacation! We are seriously considering buying segways because of the fun factor. If you have a chance to go on a segway tour, take it. No matter which tour you choose you will have a blast! | ||||||

| We all had a blast on the Segway Butterfly Beach Tour! The short training session was good, then we took off. The views were spectacular and the wind in our hair while we traveled up the beach area made it all up close and personal! It was one of our favorite things we did on the trip. Highly recommend it! It really gets fun when you get the feel of the machine......it's awesome. | ||||||

| Were not totally new to the Segway experience as I had at least made a few turns on one previously. My daughter had not. The training was very good and enabled us to feel comfortable. We were given ample opportunity to stop for photos or a break and really, really enjoyed our tour immensely. Our guide, Nina (?), was very knowledgeable about the area and while my daughter goes to school in Goleta at UCSB, she didn't know about a lot of the things we saw while doing our beach tour. We will definitely enjoy this activity again during my next visit and highly recommend it! | ||||||

| We have done segways before this at Disney. Segways are easy to learn to ride, and a lot of fun. We especially liked the history of the downtown area we have been through many times before and not noticed, and the various local parks that we visited. Jerry was great tour guide. | ||||||

| My husband and I did a Segway tour once before and we were really looking forward to touring Santa Barbara via Segway. This was so much fun! We covered a lot of the city and historic locations and headed to the beach. At the beach the parking lot was fairly empty so we had some time to do our own thing. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to experience a different way to see the city. | ||||||

| None of us had been on a segway before and all of us found it easy to learn and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, our guide was relatively new and knew less than I did about Santa Barbara (and I'm from Florida). She was very nice and very attentive, but she needs to do some studying. She would benefit by taking an Old Town Trolley tour, herself. I doubt that she had ever been through the Presidio, which is central to the history and development of the area. She really needs to study a little and learn the material. Since you ride in single file, only the person directly behind the guide could hear anything. The organization would benefit by having headsets for the group (like the ones used at the Getty Villa) so the guide could narrate while traveling - if she knew anything. Overall, it was a lot of fun and to be recommended. I'm sure they have other guides who are more proficient. | ||||||

| This was a great way to get everyone out of their comfort zone for a minute, and then quickly feel the satisfaction of riding!! we saw so much more of Santa Barbara then we would have in the car or on foot. It was well worth the price!! we all loved it, including our 2 young teenagers! | ||||||

| I (48) surprised my husband (50) and my college-age son (18) whom we were visiting on this trip by arranging for the Butterfly Beach tour. We had such a great time and it was fun to be able to do something active together across our age span. The machines are completely intuitive and really fun. Our feet got really tired on even this shorter 2-hour tour so this was just enough time for us. This particular tour has very few stops with lots of long stretches of travel where you can go all out, which I suspect might be more fun than the stop and go of some of the downtown tours if you care more about the ride (as we did) than about seeing all the Santa Barbara sites . I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to experience a Segway along a beautiful coastline. | ||||||
