| Our tour guide taught us how to ride the Segway and was very gracious as we attempted to learn. He paced the tour nicely and was concerned about our comfort and safety.
The length of the tour is just right and I think the price is fair. I loved getting around the city on the Segway and would recommend the tour.
Our tour guide, while a nice young man, was not as well versed in Richmond history as I would have liked. There were a number of questions he could not answer. The question that stands out regarded a large statute of Henry Flood Byrd. We asked who Mr. Bird was. He did not know. Yet, I found out later that Mr. Byrd was a very important man in Virginia history. |

| The Segway is certainly the way to travel around Richmond, a city built on seven hills (many of them quite steep). We found this first experience on a Segway easy to get used to and great fun. We would never have been able to cover the amount of territory in the 2.5 hours had we done it on foot! Looking for opportunities to take additional tours by Segway. |

| This was a fun and informative trip. Our guides name was Tony and he did an excellent job. I wanted to experience riding a Segway because I am considering buying one in the near future. I have a handicap that limits my walking ability and I am not ready for a wheelchair. Now I need to decide if I want a normal Segway or one for off road. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. My wife and daughter both went on the Segway tour and they both enjoyed the tour. In conclusion ty it you will like it. |

| What a great adventure. My husband and I took my parents (early 60's) out for a tour of the downtown area. By far one of the most fun things we've ever done in Richmond - a great, fun, way to see the town. Highly recommend this to EVERYONE! You won't be disappointed. ENJOY THE RIDE! |

| It took us just a few minutes to feel comfortable on the Segways. The guide told us balancing on a Segway was just like skiing and he was exactly right -- once we tried it with that in mind, we were ready to go.
We've lived in Richmond for 12+ years, and we saw a few sites we've not seen before and learned a few things. Our guide, Kory, shared some history about each site, but also gave us time to glide around on our own. We stopped at the Segway store in Shockoe Bottom about halfway through the tour for a restroom/drink break, which was a good rest (our feet hurt a bit).
The 2.5-hour tour is a good length, but I think we could have played a bit longer too. |

| The Segways are awesome and a lot of fun. As far as the tour goes, there wasn't much to it...couldn't ride along the canal as promised and the Island had an event going on during so we couldn't really go there either. Our guide seem to make up time by taking a long break over at Tredigar Iron Works-So as far as the tour itself-they need to do a much better job. We ended up waiting about 15 min for 2 people who were running late-so that also cut into our tour. Its a great idea and riding the Segways make it worthwhile though, they really are fun and are easy to learn and use. I will either just rent them next time or try out one of the other mini tours to see if it is better organized. |

| Capital One provides a certain amount of money each quarter for teams to do something together outside of Capital One. This quarter my team in Collections chose the Historic Richmond Segway Tour. This Segway tour was by far the most fun Fun Day I have been on in my eight years at Capital One. |

| I have lived in Richmond for 5 years and saw a lot of stuff I had never seen before. The segways are great fun and very easy to use. I would recommend this tour just for the fun of using a segway for 2.5 hours. The tour guide was knowledgeable but she didn't give you much time to take pictures or stay at the sites too long. Be careful with the little digital display on the segway it falls off easy. One lady lost hers in the canal on the trip and they had to bring her another segway. All in all it was fun. If you are looking for an in depth history lesson of Richmond I would not recommend this tour, but if you want to ride around on a segway and see a lot of the sites in Richmond in a short period of time this is for you. The tour guide was cute too and that is always nice. |
