| Enjoyable two hours.
The segway was easy to manage and fun to ride...
The historical portion of the tour was lacking, but the city sites and the other participants created enough entertainment.... |

| I highly recommend the Richmond, Virginia Segway tour. The Segway experience was wonderful and our tour guide, Alex, was well informed and personable. A great experience!! |

| The Segway was awesome. Easy to learn and fun to ride. The tour was great and we got to see lots of historic places in richmond that we've never seen before. Now I want a segway. |

| My college friends and I all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We are of various shapes and sizes, and all found the Segway to be easy to operated and an enjoyable mode of transportation. Also we enjoyed the historic details provided by our guide, and the variety of sites visited. |

| Give this a try-- you'll really like it! My wife and I went out on a Saturday. There were 13 total, so they split us into two groups, each having a guide. Alex was our guide and did a great job. It took only moments to feel comfortable on the Segway, and I really enjoyed the fact that the others in the group-- and some not very young or athletic types-- took to liking it and feeling comfortable right away, too. This is a real hoot, and we saw parts of Richmond that I didn't know even existed. Really-- give it a try-- you'll be glad you did!!! |

| Wanted a tour of Richmond on short notice -- made our reservation one night, toured the next morning. The fact that it was a Segway tour made it even more attractive -- a chance to try something new.
The Segway was easy to learn and the tour was very interesting. In 2-1/2 hours, saw John Marshall House, the Valentine Museum and the Wickham House, White House of the Confederacy, the Egyptian Building, MCV area, Capital Square and the Bell Tower, Shockoe Slip, Canal Walk, Brown's Island, Tredegar. We saw more sights and locations than we could have if we were on foot (saw a group on a different tour walking through Richmond's July heat and felt slightly smug). And not confined to a car or motor coach, we could stop for pictures, read the historical markers, talk to other tourists, etc.
The tour does have an historical bent, but then that 's what Richmond is known for. If you're not into history, the tour might not be as interesting.
The Segways drew a lot of attention. Fortunately the tourguide had brochures to hand out, so we didn't have to stop. And riding the Segways was really fun. They're more maneuverable than they look and you have good control over speed, forward or backward, etc. Just need to be conservative on uneven street surfaces. |

| A great new experience; myself, wife, daughter and (future) son-in-law; very good way to get a taste of the downtown area and some of the significant buildings and historical places. Our tour guide was very cordial, and a lot of fun. On the slight downside, he really wasn't very well informed on the history or some other important details. None-the-less, he showed us a very good time (and we got to educate him a bit). I'll do this again in other cities and heartily recommend it to others. |

| Slightly uncoordinated at first, but after about 15 minutes, you'll be able to maneuver easily on the Segway. After a couple hours, movement becomes very intuitive, with simple shifts of your weight in the direction you wish to move. It is lots of fun, with very little risk of falling or injury. The tour itself was also informative for our out of town guests. I'm glad I heard of the tours so soon after they were introduced to the Richmond area. Highly recommended. |

| I had high expectations but they were greatly exceeded. The trip was a great blend of guided tour with free roaming exploration. I would highly recommend the trip. As a local I saw a number of places I would never have taken to the time to explore if I had been walking. |
