| Great designer clothing and jewelry to buy for the ladies. A complete bore for the men. If you're a male, you may want to skip this. However, my wife loved it. |

| Unfortunately our guide did not know where she was going, her apprentice was much more educated on the area. You will wish you had three hours of your life back to go into stores and take advantage of the sample sales fliers that folks hand you in front of the locations where they are. Fortunately our group was small, but the guide would have been wise to provide a time limit in the stores. We ended up in one junk store that was nothing more than a cheap "Target" with clothes that were ripped and damaged but VERY cheap $5.00 shirts etc. A lot of time spent there on purely JUNK! Totally a waste of time.
I believe this could be a good tour if it were tailored to something more worthwhile. I was sadly disappointed. Being a walking tour, we did have a lady that tripped on the sidewalk and fell. I was amazed to learn that New Yorkers are concerned and polite peope after all. Many men in suits stopped to help and showed genuine concern in their hectic lives. Traveling as a woman alone, I was concerned about if something occurred, would anyone stop and notice, or would I be the car alarm that goes off with no one taking notice. So all in all, I fell more in love with NYC, and I would highly recommend the other Zerve tours, but this one needs fine tuning. |

| This is the real New York. We didn't go to pretty stores on this tour, but the showrooms and sample sale places were the real thing. The deals were great. I bought a magnificent coat which is currently in the stores for 4 times the price. Lots of walking. We had a ball. |

| We had a knowlegeable, well-organized, and fun tour guide. She did a great job of explaining how sample sales work in the garment district, which was helpful as everyone in our group were first-timers. We packed about as much into the 3 hours as was possible. The variety was interesting, in types and quality of garments and accessories, in price range, in venue, and in size of the sales.
The website suggestions were very helpful. Wear comfortable shoes, be prepared for the weather, eat before, tip your guide. Especially fun if you enjoy "the hunt" in shopping -- a very unique shopping experience!

| What a great opporrunity to get into places the ordinary tourist would not have access! My entire group thoroughly enjoyed the outing and are going back with some very special "finds" that will make our friends back home very envious.
We will take another shopping tour with Shop Gotham when we return next year. |

| The tour captured the essence of the garment district and provided a good insight and interesting information. The tour visited about a dozen different venues and provided a wide variety of opportunities to try on and buy. There was no pressure from the guides or the hosts at the venues to buy anything. In addition lots of helpful fashion tips and anecdotes relating to the history of fashion added to the interest. My daughter and I enjoyed meeting the other people on the tour and the exchange of information and comparing of holiday notes. Both guides were excellent-charming and knowledgeable. |

| When I first booked the tour, I was not too sure if we would enjoy it. I have to admit it was one of the best parts of our vacation. Our guide was great and everyone was smiling at the end of the tour, despite the terrible weather. Even if you don't find something to purchase on the tour, which is nearly impossible, it is so interesting to learn about different designers and see what actually goes on in the world of fasion. I plan on booking another Shop Gotham tour for my next visit to New York, and I would recommend the Garment Center Tour in a heartbeat. |
