| Very charming young lady escort who took us round an eclectic range of shops in SoHo, giving us plenty of time to browse. She couldn't have tried harder to please us.
As a regular visitor to NY (and one time resident), many of the big stores are obvious draws. However, since the 1960's the neighbourhoods have changed in character and having more than usual leisure in the City, a walking tour was a good opportunity to be reintroduced to that area. The weather was foul but no fault of Shop Gotham! |

| I thoroughly enjoyed this tour of SoHo and Nolita. Our guide was knowledgable providing history as well as pointers to great shops. She even found a sample sale going on in the neighborhood and took us to the sale. I found that the discounts that came with the tour covered the cost, so it was all very reasonable. I was from out of town. The tour helped me feel comfortable in the area. I was more comfortable shopping after havnig had the tour. It gives a good overview of the area. My friend and I stayed for several hours and shopped in many stores. It was great. I highly recommend it. |

| I enjoyed the tour. It got us to Soho and showed us around the streets. There were a few shops that I enjoyed and returned to after the tour but a lot of the shops were of little interest to me. Also there was a group of women who felt the necessity to buy at each stop. Each shop was alotted about 10 minutes. Therefore we were always waiting for them.
The guide, Molly was fine but as she dropped us off at our last location, she disappeared so quickly that I did not have an opportunity to tip her. For that I felt badly.
I recommend the tour for newcomers to New York who feel unsure of being independently adventurous. It was a cofortable way to prowl the streets of Soho and do great window shopping. It should be stated at the beginning of the tour that purchases should be made after the tour so as not to hold up the entire group. |

| We had a fantastic time. All the stores we visited were one of a kind and each of them had a unique history as to how they started and the items they carried. Marla, our guide was so informative on each store and everyone in the stores were very gracious and treated our tour group well. We even saw a celebrity :) in one of the stores, so that made our day.
I would do it again in a heartbeat, a MUST to do if you enjoy unique stores and shopping.

| This was a great tour with a great guide! We had a lot of fun exploring SOHO and found so many new places that this trip is well worth the time and money!! Hats off to whoever came up with the idea of a shopping tour - especially in one of the best shopping cities I know! |

| The tour guide-a young Russian lady-was very knowledgeble about the area and gave good tips on history. I realize that we were on a tight schedule, but she kept her eye on the time on her phone to the point that we were almost afraid even look at anything. I had the feeling that she had something else she needed to do. Our last stop was Rice to Riches where we were told to go in and ask for samples. My friend and I asked for two and then looked around for our guide. She was nowhere to be seen. We ran out to the street in front of the store-again she was not there. She seemed to have disappeared, leaving us with no directions or even a good-by. This was very disconcerting and rude. We will not book again. |

| Enjoyed the tour - loved the sample sale and the stop at the student designer hall. The chocolate stop and costume jewelry were too long.
Guide was really fun! |
