SoHo and NoLita Shopping Tour

The shopping aspect was not the highlight of the tour. We did not see many stores. It was nice to walk around and see the area. Our tour guide was wonderful. I just feel that the tour itself is dull.

There were three of us on this tour and we loved experiencing SoHo with Danielle leading the way. She was a great tour guide. Don't expect to stay at any stop longer than 10-15 minutes. You are just getting the highlights and the feel of SoHo shopping. After the tour, head back to your favorites. It would have been very helpful if the walking map you are given at the beginning of the tour included the location of the shops you are visiting. We spent over an hour trying to find one of the shops and finally gave up completely.

The guide was able to tell us fun facts about the area and was able to cover a lot of ground in 2.5 - 3 hours. I would do an other tour the next time im in town.

The tour in no way reflected the description on the website. The guide seemed to have no plan except to wander haphazardly from store to store within a four square block area of Soho. Absolutely no "chat" about the area, the architecture, the boutique. And speaking of boutiques, I don't think Pearl River qualifies. She specifically said we would not be going to Nolita because it was too far away. Our guide seemed more interested in talking to the guides from other groups than talking to us. There must have been five guides congregated in Pearl River while their hapless tourists wandered aimlessly. We left early in disgust. Our short time in NYC was too valuable to waste on this tour. I will not recommend this tour to others. If anyone asks me about the tour, I will tell them it is a waste of time and money. I would like my money back.

Keve was an excellent guide. We had enough time to try on items and never felt pressured to buy. She took us to a good variety of shops and didn't waste our time on junk. I bought a couple things on the tour. Afterward, my daughter and I grabbed lunch at a pizza joint and spent a couple more hours shopping using the map and discount card Keve gave us.

Our tour guide was Hallie. She was energetic, extremely knowledgable and in tune with what we'd be interested in. She took us to a variety of off the beat and path stores and shared interesting trivia and history about Nolita and So Ho. After the tour, my family and I had a feel for the area so we extended our shopping tour and had even more fun. When we return to New York, we'll look forward to doing another Gothan City tour.

This tour was a great way to spend an afternoon with girlfriends. My group included a friend and our mothers and we all enjoyed it very much. The guide was very informative, relaxed, and fun. She covered not only cool shopping facts around the area but also about the neighborhoods themselves. The best part of the tour was that many of the boutiques and stores are on small side streets that a tourist like myself would probably not found alone. I would definitely recommend this tour as it was one of the highlight of our recent trip.

The tour was useful because we would have missed some excellent stores had we not taken it. However, I believe the description of the tour said something about learning a bit of history of the area and receiving discounts or coupons. The score was zero in these two areas. The tour was useful but the advertising was misleading.

Two daughters, a cousin and I were in NYC for a long weekend together. Decided to try your walk - have done lots of walks in London and Paris - and was very pleased. The guides were informative, adapative, interesting, fun, and enthusiastic. Have shoped the SoHo area on my own before, and never found all the great shops which you exposed us to. My daughters, who are obviously much younger, loved the variety, trendiness, and quality of all the stores. They are already planning more foreys into the streets of NYC and plan to take more of your walks. We'll watch your web site on the internet for new and interesting trips. Thanks!

Our guide was very friendly and informative about the shops and neighborhood. We enjoyed all stores we were taken to during the tour. The guide questioned to find out our interests. Mine is definitely shoes! On the tour I found a great pair of handmade italian sandals! And the store gave me the 15% tour discount. We were thrilled with all of our purchases!
