| I, my sister, and my son and his wife took the Soho shopping tour on Saturday, Jan. 26. We didn't know exactly what to expect ,but we had hoped for more historical information, architectural information, and to see more places. I think the tour was priced quite high for the information and number of places we visited. Having said that, we did go to places we may have just passed up or never bothered to see. Our guide was pleasant and patient. | ||||||

| I wish there were these kind of shopping tours / sales back home! Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable! Will definetly do this again if we go back to NYC. | ||||||

| Our group of eight friends enjoyed our guide, Julie, and our inside look at the garment district on our shopping tour. We were able to purchase some clothing and accessories at fabulous prices and get a behind the scenes look at the clothing business. | ||||||

| I took the Soho/NoLita shopping tour on January 10th. The guide was very nice and helpful. She gave a lot of historical tidbits which I appreciated. Overall, I thought the tour was just OK and if you measure the success by purchases made by the group of seven women it wasn't very much. We only visited a handful of stores to be honest although we were given a list of stores that we could visit on our own which was useful. I did better on my own walking around the area. The cost of the tour wasn't too expensive so I don't think that money was lost. | ||||||

| I recently took my daughters (18 and 15) to New York for their first visit. Whilst I knew the general areas to go (Soho etc), I had no ideas of the specifics of individual stores. The Shop Gotham guide, Adrienne, quickly zoomed in on the girl's tastes and wish list, and took us to a succession of interesting stores. After a couple of hours my partner and I were able to collapse into a restaurant leaving the girls in Adrienne’s capable hands. My daughters are now proven Big Apple Shoppers (although my wallet is somewhat lighter!) A big thanks from all of us to Adrienne and Shop Gotham | ||||||

| My 15 year-old daughter and I both agree that the Garment District Tour was the highlight of our long weekend in NYC. We had a wonderful tour guide, Molly, who was able to steer us through the shopping district with ease and expertise. We went to designer showrooms that were NOT open to the public and were able to get some beautiful designer clothes for incredibly low prices - like 10% - 30% of the cost of the items in the stores. We know this for a fact - because later we were shopping in Bloomingdales and some Soho boutiques and saw the same clothes for 10 times the price! We even met the designer in one of the showrooms and she helped my daughter put together some amazing outfits. We will be sure to book this EVERY time we come to NYC. | I signed up for this activity by myself, but felt very welcomed by our guide and the group as a whole. I felt I was the perfect customer being a middle-aged female customer. I'm not sure I'd have enjoyed it so much had I been male or a teen. I was the market customer the outlets were looking for in a customer. We had more than enough time at every shop, sometimes too much time. I really loved being able to go behind the scenes of the industry and get a peek of this retail experience. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly and would love to do another tour. | ||||||

| I was thinking this would be more fun then it was. With 6 people it was too difficult to look around and make decisions as you knew other people were waiting to leave. The places visited were okay, but probably not any stores that I would go back to on a return visit to New York. Our tour guide was good but I think I could have found a more enjoyable way to spend 2 hours. | ||||||

| Julie, our guide was both lovely and funky - good choice of person for the activity. I was most impressed by our guide. She was approachable, knowledgeable, interesting, open and receptive to questions - very personable. Pay her well. I would have enjoyed even more historical information about the area. That said, I understand this was a "shopping tour" and Julie did a very good job incorporating information with "shopping". Not too impressed with the shops, but then, I am from an urban area. Wish we had known that shops did not open until 11:00 in SoHo. Oh and MarieBelle - if this is what New Yorkers think is the "ultimate" they haven't, one - read what is in the ingredient list or two, have not been abroad for chocolate. All said, I'd still recommend the experience. | ||||||

| My mother and I went on this trip and had a great time. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and took us to some very cool shops. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who has been to NYC a few times and who would like to delve into the city's great shopping a little deeper. I'd do it again! Marian | ||||||

| My mom, two sisters and I had an absolutely fantastic time on this tour and bought some great, interesting stuff. We went to stores that were unusual and different. We were able to get a real taste for the area and the shopping and learned about some sales. Sometimes the store mangers came and spoke to us about their product and demonstrated some of the items. We even stopped and got a free chocolate tasting!!! Christina our tour guide knew a lot about the area. She asked what kind of items we were looking for and she knew how to direct us. She was very pleasant to be with. We enjoyed meeting some of the young designers. All in all, it was a great tour and we would do it again. | ||||||
