Shop Gotham

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE THE STORES WE WERE SCHEDULED TO VISIT WERE A BIT OVER MY BUDGET. I HAD MY 2 DAUGHTERS WITH ME, AGES 20 & 18. I WISH THERE WAS A WAY I COULD BE REFUNDED. THE AD WAS VERY MISLEADING AND DID NOT DESCRIBE THE TYPE OF STORES WE WERE GOING TO VISIT.

Only 2 of the 6 stops were interesting and the deals to be had at these two were not significant. The guide took us to the wrong places twice. She had no comments to make on the area and did not seem to be knowledgeable about history, architecture, or even local dining options. We didn't see any showrooms just storage areas. We've been on 2 food tours in NYC and enjoyed those enormously.

We had a wonderful time with Crystal. She was enthusiastic, fun and knowledgable of the fashion industry. I would love to do another tour when I come back to NYC.

My thirteen year-old grand-daughter and I both enjoyed the tour and found some good bargains. Our guide was cheerful throughout, and considerate of the group, and we were well received by the designers and wholesalers.

The tour was really fantastic! You get to meet the designers while you shop, and that was even more spectacular to me than the shopping (which was great as well). The tour guide was so nice, informative and was obviously well liked by everyone our group visited. I would defiantly go on this tour again, because it's never the same twice. Thanks for a great time!

I enjoyed seeing the designer showrooms and the fashions. The 3 hour tour passed by very quickly, leaving some of us wanting to see more. After the tour I wandered the Fashion District for another 2 hours. I never saw anything close to the access our tour provided. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. I will definitely consider your other tours!

This tour sounded good on paper but in real life my friend and I did not like it. On the day we went it was raining like crazy. Our tour guide was great and a really sweet girl who we enjoyed meeting. The problem was that the tour consisted of high price designers and some places that were crazy (like two Japanese stores) that we did not like. Also, a lot of the places were for a younger crowd. After a while my friend and I told the guide that we didn't want to go in any of the places on the tour and we chose our own places. That was fun. The best place was a bath shop where we all made our own bath products. I would NEVER go on another shopping tour. This was my second one. I didn't like the first one either but I thought this one might be different - it wasn't.

My sister and daughter and I really enjoyed this tour. Sumerlee was fantastic and so very informative. We learned so much and it was such a great experience. Worth every penny.

My sisters and I flew out to NYC for our annual sisters trip. This was the first tour we took that kicked off our get together. I will let you know that our guide was fantastic! Not only did she take us to great sample sales, but also recommended other stores that may be of intrest. The products we came back with were inexpensive (discounted heavily, not retail price) but were products that were not even not even shelves yet. My sisters and I agree, we would do it all over again...Thanks so much for the fabolous experience... Renee- Seattle, Wa.

I took my Mom and two teenage daughters on the tour and all 3 generations had a great time. Fun shops and buying opportunities not found elsewhere. Our guide Molly was a pleasure and very informative. We recommend this tour!!

My daughter and I really enjoyed visiting this area with someone who knows the ins and outs. The shops we visited were great and she also gave us interesting facts about the neighborhoods. Very glad we decided to use you.

My sister, 14 year old daughter and I took the Soho/Nolita tour led by Christina on our recent girls weekend to NYC. I can't say enough positive things about our experience. It was AWESOME!! We visited or window shopped boutiques and stores that we would not have experienced without the tour. My daughter got to "model" a skirt in one of the boutiques for the group which was such a kick for her. We sampled chocolate and went into a taxidermy store that had fossils and all kinds of unique stuff. Christina is knowledgable about the architecture and history of the area so it was more than "just" shopping education! There was lots of stores and territory to cover in a short 2 and a half hours and the time flew by. Thank you Christina and Gotham City tours!!!! Have recommended you to all my friends.

I had an amazing time in just two hours learning about the history of the area, what the hot restaurants are, and best yet where to shop!!! I thought the tour guide did a good job of looking at the ages of everyone, and finding shops that were appropriate. Our guide was very professional, and I next time I go to NYC, I would do another tour again!!!

I went with a girlfriend and was paired with 6 other women, 2 mother-daughters and 2 sisters. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful and sensitive to trying to keep everyone happy. It's a little challenging to meet everyone's needs but we went to a range of places (about 6) with a range of styles that allowed everyone to go home with at least one purchase. Good value all around. The challenge was trying to find and make decisions quickly so we could get it all in.

It was very interesting and well worth the time. The trip delivered all that it promised. I would suggest that since people on the trip might need to coordinate with others that the end point of the trip be published and end within 15 minutes of the posted time. (Posted for Suzanne Courtney.)
