Shop Gotham

The tour was great. It was very informational and I loved all the little boutiques the tour guide showed us. I would recommend a shopping tour to anyone that wants to find the hidden gems in SOHO.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Garment District. It was just as promised, and the showrooms and sample sales had something for everyone. Prices were excellent, and I felt we more than saved our ticket price. It was an excellent value. Our group was very small, which gave us more flexibility. Although there was a lot of walking, it was nothing unusual for a New York visit. Our tour guide was informed and friendly; we really enjoyed her. I would highly recommend this tour for shoppers, and would take it again myself.

I loved this shopping tour! I wish it was longer! I found it in Shape Magazine and was very excited about the awesome tote bag we got as well! I frequent NYC as much as possible and I can't wait to go to these Soho shops around Christmas time. I loved the Pearl Street Market, YOung Artists Mart and the chocolate place. Also, the jewelry shop that begins with an "S"...french designer. Molly was a great tour guide and knew lots about the area. The only recommendation I would make would be to include info on where to find designer vintage apparel and accesories in the area. Thank you!

Our guide, Molly was very nice and factual. We loved the bag and the goodies inside. Just a few suggestions-in the summertime, provide a bottle of water-it got very hot and we weren't stopping for drinks. Also, there should have been a store for shoes and pocketbooks. Too much time was spent at the Asian store. It gave me a good review of the area and it reminded me of the stores to go. ALso, the only stores we should have gone into were the ones that provided a discount.

Julie was an awesome tour guide...a natural! I was hesitant to book the tour because I knew nothing about it. I finally took the risk and signed up. It was worth the money and time we spent. I would definitely recommend it if you like to shop and have an interest in style.

I was really excited about this tour, but it seems there wasn't much. You can easily walk around Fashion Avenue and there are lots of people handing out brochures on sample sales going on at the time. You could also probably hop online and figure it all out yourself. There were a couple of showrooms we visited, but not much stock. Most people hardly bought anything, and the pics on the tour webpage are definitely misleading.

The SoHo & NoLito Shopping Tour was very nice. Our guide, Julie, was wonderful, thoughtful, and very informative. The pace was just right, we got some nice samples, and now we know where to go when we visit SoHo & NoLito the next time around.

This tour gives a good overview of SoHo and NoLita. If your intent is to shop, plan on using the tour as an overview and then returning to the shops later in the day. Our guide, Julie, was knowledgeable of the history of the area as well as the stop along the way. She was enthusiastica and made the day fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed my private shopping tour with Halle. Halle has great taste, fabulous style and is so much fun to shop with - an excellent guide. She picked the best spots for us to shop (based on my pre-tour questionnaire)...and I found the perfect something in almost every store! I would thoroughly recommend a private shopping tour if you have limited time in the city and want to experience more than just 5th Ave & Madison.

Somewhat of a big disapointment; looking for some great local haunts - sassy boutiques and off the beaten path finds. Fared better after the tour hitting the mini flea markets and artisan street vendors. West Village Food Tour was beyond terrific, thought this would be equally wonderful. Tremendous letdown; especially since "homework" was not done regarding 1 store which had closed. Then nothing (besides crossing the street to a "thinly" stocked purse store) to compensate for one less store. In this case, best to ask around while sipping your espesso in a SOHO cafe and be on your way.

LOADS OF FUN AND WELL WORTH IT. MY DAUGHTER AND I HAD A GREAT TIME AND LEARNED A LOT ABOUT THE INDUSTRY AND ENJOYED THE DAY SHOPPING. WILL DO IT AGAIN. THANKS A LOT FROM IDAHO

My grown daughter and I loved every minute of the Garment Center tour. The guide provided us with excellent history of the garment district. We were taken to both manufacturers and sample sales. At one stop we even met the designer. We have been to NY many times and this was a different experience that we will always remember. While sample sales had clothes in all sizes, most clothes were from 2-10 with a small selection in 12 and 14. But there were handbags, costume jewelry and cosmetics, so there was really something for everyone. Although we each bought several lovely things, this would have been fun even if we hadn't bought a thing.

We enjoyed our trip, it was very interesting seeing a side of the fashion industry that isn't usually open to the public. My 13 year-old daughter says it was her favorite part or her trip! I would definitely recommend a good pair of walking shoes and leaving the guys at home or at the hotel for this one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Shopping Tour in SoHo. It was fun going into shops that you wouldn't normally go into. We went into several shops that were small and out of the way. Along the way, our tour guide gave us a little history about SoHo. She was a fun tour guide. Very enthusiastic and made the tour really enjoyable. We actually were able to do one of those cool "sample sale". Really fun.....
