Albacore Fishing Season is July through November. These fast-swimming, world-wide touring fish sometimes come within reach of our boats in the fall months. If a good fight is what you're looking for, then Albacore fishing is for you!
Albacore don't give up easily. They are highly evolved hunting machines. There is a reason why this species is at the top of the food chain--they are fast, strong, tenacious, and deadly killers. They will give you an intense tug-of-war that you won't soon forget.
On this trip, you'll...
- Have an opportunity to catch as many Albacore as you want - No Limit on the Albacore!
- Enjoy a day on the ocean aboard the Velocity or Princess. Both vessels have spacious walk-around decks and exterior and indoor seating.
Trips usually last between 12 and 14 hours. The length of each trip depends heavily upon the "bite,” meaning if everyone catches their limit early, we will return early.
What Is Not Included?
Fishing rods, licenses, and fish cleaning services: Rods and licenses can be rented/purchased at the shop prior to departure. A complete equipment package with license will cost $25 per fisherman. Fish cleaning is $5 per Albacore.
Food and beverages: The boat also features a full service galley, which sells breakfast and lunch items as well as your favorite beverages (including beer and wine). Previous guests who have enjoyed breakfast and lunch aboard our boats have found $12 per person, cash or credit, to be sufficient ($20 with beer). You many also bring your own food and drinks (but no alcohol!).
Fishing License regulations: Anyone 16 years of age or older (and who is fishing on the trip) is required to have a fishing license in their possession before getting on the boat. If you do not have one, we have one-day licenses available in the shop that can be purchased prior to departure.
