| was still cool, even though a little disappointing that we did not see any whales. We did see a ton of dolphins, some sea lions, and a baby and mama sea otter. Also, don't go when it is windy if you get motion sickness easily. I did not "feed the whales" as the deckhand said, but I felt kinda barfy most of the 4 hours.
The crew were great, and deckhand DJ was super awesome! Very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with a smile. |

| SHAG (Sacramento Hiking and Adventure Group) had a great time! Ken and his crew were great to me and all my members! He was extremely patient & helpful in dealing with me over the phone in choosing the right time to go, allowing me to pick my own date for the trip, the prices was right & fair due to the large number of attendees (25), was extremely knowledegable of the whales! He promised me whales and I saw whales! We definately will plan another trip this summer w/Ken & his crew!
Thanks again,
Cheryl

| we really enjoyed this trip even after postponing multiple times due to the weather conditions. the crew were super friendly and helpful and the boat amenities were adequate for a 3-4 hour excusrion on the ocean.
stellar views of santa cruz and the light house and being in the proximity of amazing gray whales really made for an aswesome time on the water.

| We had any awesome time...what an experience witnessing these magnificent creatures as they made their journey across the pacific. My husband and I took our two teenage kids (13 and 17). It was their week off from school and they both said that it was the highlight of their week.
The captain and crew were VERY hospitable and very knowledgable. We saw a couple of whales that we were able to follow for quite some time and witness their breaching and even see those BIG tales. We also saw seal lions and a couple of sea otter families. We want to do it again. It was DEFINETLY worth the time and money. |

| The staff was friendly, knowledgable and well organized. The water was rough which made it harder to see spouts. The crew did the best they could as far as staying in contact with other boats trying to find whales and other sea life. There were not many to be found as I think we were a bit early in the migration season. A great time anyway. Be sure to bring layers of clothing like it says in the brocure. |

| We went out whale watching with a load of approximately 25. The day was perfect and we saw whales, sea lions and sea otters. The crew really catered to us and put the boat in primo locations to see the whales. They told us where to look for maximum enjoyment. What a blast! |

| The crew of two were great. The day started off very sunny, so we weren't prepared for how cold it got at sea--bring proper sea gear! It was also choppy the day we went which made it really fun, but three-quarters of the way through it seemed quite a few of us were feeling a bit sea sick (which only added to the experience). We found two older gray whales heading north early and followed them for awhile. More than two would have been more exciting, and we didn't actually get that close (maybe about 35--50 feet?), but it is still fun and I guess better for the whales. Anyway, the whole thing is fun and worth the money. I'd like to do it again during humpback season. |

| After we purchased the tickets I realized the ocean was really going to be rough that day but we were stuck as you cannot change your date. Not only was it rough (you had to hang on constantly or you fell) but once we got out into the ocean we were totally fogged in. What did we see? Nothing! Between the swells and the limited visibility that is what you could see. Of course we sailed and sailed in hopes of seeing something so people just got sicker and sicker. It was totally boring as there was nothing but the swells washing over the boat to see. I would have been much happier if they cancelled the trip. |
