We hit the right day. We had about 6 to 8 whales, Blues and Humpbacks, feeding and swimming. They are beautiful and amazing. The crew was knowledgeable and pleasant. They seemed to enjoy the whales as much as the passengers. The only drawback was that my 82 year old mother had difficulty waiting in line for them to let us on the boat--be prepared, entry onto the boat and a place to sit down isn't available until the actual trip time even though they ask you to be there early. |

This was my family's first experience with a whale watching trip. I would HIGHLY recommend Stagnaro's Charter Boats for anyone looking for a fun time. The crew was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. |

My family loved this. We tracked two whales for a good portion of the trip and we saw probably 3 or 4 other whales by the end of the trip. My four year old loved having a front row seat to these amazing animals. The two we tracked came up right next to the boat more than once. It was so exciting! The crew was great and the naturalist on board made the experience wonderful and educational for all. I would highly recommend this trip. |

Went June 2012; whales weren't very active. Seas were a little choppy; several sick folks on board. Observed blue and a couple of humpbacks. Had 2 naturalists on board; Maureen was very friendly and made sure she interacted with everyone on board. Smallest boat I've been on for a whale watch made for a cozy setting. |

We were very fortunate and saw a number of whales. They are such magnificant animals. Tour staff was at all times friendly and helpful. A couple of people in our group did get seasick. Our best advice on this, though unfortunately after the fact, is, if you have no idea whether or not you get seasick, do get and use a patch. Under-prepared is rather miserable. Loved the trip and would certainly recommend it. |

We are so glad we took this trip! From the moment we had a pre board briefing to the minute we got back the whole day was a true education. The naturalist on board was incredibly knowledgable as we're all the crew, she was do enthusiastic and energic about marine biology! We saw blue whales, finn whales and the hump backs were as common as the harbour seals! It was the last day of our truly enjoyable honeymoon & we could not have chosen to spend it on a better trip! |

Stagnaro's provided a great team--a dedicated captain who persevered to show us 3 different types of whales; a knowledgable guide who gave us interesting information about what we were seeing; a caring mate who made our trip comfortable. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon! |

Very foggy day. Saw Otters, Sea Lions and many different birds but the Skipper had a hard time finding any whales. However, he persisted and he found not 1, but 2 Blue Whales which are very hard to spot and rarely ever seen!! We stayed with them for 30 minutes! We also saw a Fin Whale after that. Boat is in excellent condition. Crew was very knowledgeable and informative. |

The crew was knowledgeable and professional. They really knew how to find and follow the whales. We were "blown" away by the blues and fins. But this boat did not accommodate passengers on the upper level, and other boats in the same watching area did. It would have been better viewing the blues if we could have been up higher to see down into the water. Next time I will find a boat that has an upper deck. |
