Whale Watching Trip on Monterey Bay

I could see killer whales and sea lions. These were so beautiful! These were truly different from what we can see in aquarium. Also cruzer was nice. We could buy coffee and something to eat in the cruzer. It was very convenient.

Great crew that included a naturalist. Because the naturalist interacts individually with the customers, the captain is only occasionally on the loud speaker, allowing customers to enjoy the experience. Nice vessel, well organized, check whale sighting reports on their website to get an idea of what you may see. We saw a pod of 4 orcas feeding on a seal they killed. Gruesome, but amazing. First time I've been whale watching and will do it again next year when different kinds of whales are in town. A must do.

We were lucky to see Orca's, as well as watching them kill and eat a seal. Afterwords they were frolicking, and did quite a few breaches!

Fun day, saw Orca's feeding, otters, seals and an awesome view of the entire bay as it was a cloud free day. Worth the trip just for the nice boat ride. The naturalist assiged to us was great and interesting to speak with. Suggest you bring gloves and a hat in December as it is colder than you think on the boat.

Wife and I took four of our grandchildren 13, 9, 8 & 6 they all want to know if we can go again and how soon. Maureen' s knowledge of the sea life and her personality help to make this a trip of a life time.

The Velocity is a strong feeling boat with a strong sounding engine. Felt safe. Captain would not turn around until we saw whales so our trip lasted over 4 hours. Crew was pleasant.

I am certainly going back, the trip was totally worth it

The ship was clean and the crew was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. If you don't mind boats, 3 - 4 hours on the open ocean hoping to see a whale shouldn't be an issue and this trip is definitely worth it. If you don't care for boats, then the hit-or-miss opportunity to see a whale might not provide enough bang for your buck. With my two children (9 and 12), we had a good time and saw a couple humpbacks too. Stagnaro Charter Boats did a very nice job and provided a pleasant trip.
