Whale Watching Trip on Monterey Bay

Wir hatten 4 wunderschöne Stunden auf dem Meer, in denen wir viele Tiere und vor allem Wale zu Gesicht bekommen haben. Zahlreiche Grauwalen und Delfinen kamen direkt ans Boot- es war einfach wunderschön!!!

My mother was visiting in California and had mentioned that she would like to go whale watching, so we googled it and came up with the website that led us to book through Zerve. The Stagnaro Family captain and crew were very eager to please the group on the boat and seemed to know just where to find the whales and why, and were very informative and pleasant with us. Our group became more and more enthusiastic about the entire trip and were very pleased to have been the happy group that got to see 2 types of dolphins and 2 types of whales on this trip, in addition to sea lions, sting rays, a variety of birds, and the landing and take-off of an albatross. It was a truly exceptional experience that I would certainly consider doing again.

My trip was cancelled 3 times and I didn't find out until 9 AM the morning of the trip. On the last trip I drove up from Los Angeles to meet my family and it got cancelled again. Right now I'm not very happy.

Staff explained a lot on animals and the kids enjoyed them. I got a bit sea sick, but otherwise, a great choice of things to do during summer with the kids.

This was the first trip for my kids and they loved it! The crew is very knowledgeable, the boat is very nice and you feel totally safe! I would totally recommend this trip!

We have to be thankful there are people like you ; whom are so enthusiastically involved in saving the oceans and the beautiful creatures that dwell within them. I highly recommend and thoroughly enjoyed the knowledgable staff; and the ambiance of the Velocity on the Sea. I will be bringing more friends soon. Although we didn't spot any whales or any other sea mammals, the crew was nice and the day was beautiful...it was a worthwhile trip!

The captain was the best I have ever experienced. He was knowledgeable, knew exactly where to go and how slow to go and was able to explain everything that was happening and everything we were seeing.

Whole family - ages 25-67 had a great time. Luckily no one got sea sick. The Stagnaro staff was enthusiastic and helpful and made sure to find whales for us to see.

Unfortunately it was a windy day and swells were big. Never got to see the whales, but not for lack of the crew trying to find them. Crew was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Because we didn't see any whales they gave us discounts for another trip. Only downside was that we were the second cruise out that day and they do not restock the boat with food. They were "out" of quite a few items to eat, so bring your own food!
