Whale Watching Trip on Monterey Bay

Thanks to the Stagnaro family and staff for the wonderful service you provided and continue to provide, and A SUPER THANKS for an experience of a lifetime! A special thanks for Mike in the gally for wonderful hot chocolate and the kind words about my special needs children. We lucked out and were able to see several Humpacks feeding on Krill, Risso's dolphins, harbor porpoises, sea otters, sea lions and either a sunfish or a shark. I would go back and do this again! I've posted my pics to facebook and have had a lot of positive comments and people saying they will add this trip as a must do.

This was a stand out highlight of our three weeks around Santa Cruz - amazingly close up to the whales and very interesting and helpful commentary.

It was a really great trip! The crew were great! They had no trouble finding the whales and alerting us where to look when one was about to surface. There was a naturalist on board who told us about the animals we were seeing.

this was a great experience for people of all ages. The people I have talked with about this adventure are interested in doing it themselves.

The trip was absolutely amazing. I love all the information that was offered through out the experience and the quality of service I received. The food aboard the ship was delicious and very resonably priced. We were able to see both Humpback and Blue Whales and even scouted out for dolphins. A must do experience for anyone who is even remotely interested in whales or nature. 10/10

Great family adventure! The crew of Velocity were polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the Monterey Bay and its inhabitants. The water was pretty rough and the captain was very good about warning us of changing conditions. The whales were not as active (no breaching) as I had heard of previous trips, but that could have something to do with the choppy waters. We saw several blue whales and about 2 dozen Humpback whales, along with some dolphins and otters. Overall, it was an exciting trip and one our family will remember for a long time.

We were a mixed group of adults and school aged kids and I was a little concerned about us getting seasick, not knowing how far out we'd go. The crew was very professional and reviewed safety information, adding that they wouldn't take us out if conditions were not safe. We had a great ride, despite the wind and saw 2 blue whales and a humpback! A very memorable trip for all of us and we're glad we went! None of us got sick although a few other kids did on the choppy ride back. Again, the crew handled it admirably. Thanks Stagnaros!

My husband and I did this whale watching trip for our anniversary! We had such a fantastic time!!! The boat was clean and very well maintained, the staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgable and the whales are amazing!!! We saw blue whales and a humpback!!! So much fun!!! We will definatley be coming back and doing this same trip again and again and will be recommending it to everyone!!!!!

We had such a good time as a family watching whales on this boat. the crew and staff made it their business to ensure we had a great time and we saw so many whlaes, seals and dolpins. I will never forget it.

Staff was well informed and made sure we got a good look at as much as possible. They were persistent in following a blue whale for all of us to get a good look at, which we did! I would highly recommend Stagnaros for whale watching.
