| I do like magic and found this tour whilst booking my New York trip for February 2007. The price is not too much and the Waldorf Towers Hotel is a luxurious place in which to hold the activity. Steve Cohen was enigmatic, very funny in parts and put 110% into the evening's performance. Also, there was audience participation and because there were only limited attendees, the ambience was just right. I found the evening to be too short, I could have stayed longer, an hour and a quarter does not do him justice and I am sure he has many more tricks up his sleeve, but overall, a lovely way to spend an evening in a classic setting, well worth the visit! |

| Cohen put on a good show. I liked the atmosphere of a limited amount of people in a room with a magician. Cohen did a good job of including everyone and offered quite a few "up-close" opportunities. The "brick in the hat" "kettle" and "word in a dictionary" illusions were my favorite. I am sure those are not the right names, but you'll know them if you see them. He did a great job.
In my opinion, much of his show was based on probability and misdirection, which was good, but if you are expecting huge, elaborate illusions, stick to stage magic. He also threw in some "body magic" which he could have left out. I can rub my hands together at home (but, I can't stop my pulse) so I don't want to pay money to see that. I didn't care for the "please buy my stuff" bit toward the end of the show. He could have easily had an assistant take care of that before and after the show so Cohen would not look like he was trying to push his wares on the audience. Stayed at the Waldorf Astoria so I would be close to the show. It was ok, not too impressed. A bit over priced, but everything in NY is right?
Definitely recommend overall, but if he took out the body magic and buy my stuff, it would go from four stars to five. |

| Show was great and kept you guessing and wondering how he could possible do all the tricks without someone catching on. Used most of the audience for participation so you knew there were no side deals before the show.
Only recommendation would be adult only show with no children options even though the children present were very good. The request for cocktail dresses and jackets for men mostly was not complied with. Perhaps certain dates require dress restrictions. Some people enjoy an evening out and dressing and sitting next to people in jeans or tacky clothes does ruin the expirence.
Fabulous show, would definately attend again. |

| I've seen Steve Cohen twice now, once on a corporate event and now at the Waldorf. If a fun night is what you're looking for, this is it. The tricks he does are amazing, and to see them up close is quite a treat.
I would highly recommend a Friday night at the Waldorf... |

| I have enjoyed Steve Cohen's performance twice. Each time, his magic skills were stunning and his personality engaging. The intimate salon setting is a treat in this age of mass media and large venues. An experience to be savored. |
