Mind-Blowing Chamber Magic

This is one of the most amazing shows you will ever see. I am still shaking my head 3 days later. I sat in the front-row as to not miss anything (even though the room is small). The tricks Mr. Cohen does defies explanation. I strongly recommend this show to anyone. 90 minutes never passed by so quickly

We spent a week-end in NYC, went to a broadway play and then to see Steve Cohen. We both enjoyed his magic and mentalism and felt it was much more fun than the play we'd seen. We want to go again!

This show was highly recommended to me by a friend who hired Steve Cohen to perform at a very large, prestigious company event. He attended Chamber Magic as research prior to the event, and was astounded. His enthusiastic description of Steve Cohen and his performace were so vivid that I immediately booked tickets as soon as I got home from lunch, and then built a whole weekend in NYC around it. My husband is an amateur magician, and our children - 9 & 13 - love learning to perform magic as well, so I knew they would be thrilled by this opportunity. My husband and younger son sat in the first row, just inches from Steve's hands. My son has already told many people that "he's just the best magician I've ever seen in my whole life!" The entire event - from dressing up, to arriving at the Waldorf Towers and being sent up to the lovely suite where classical music is playing, to having our minds read- was a departure from the ordinary. Steve has excellent audience appeal, and is warm and funny, in addition to being highly skilled. He is truly living his childhood dream, and it shows. We will be back to visit and I've already recommended Chamber Magic to many friends and coworkers who travel to NYC.

4 women visit NYC every Labor Day weekend... always looking for something different and fun to do. Enjoyed this as much if not more than a broadway show. Highly recommend to anyone of all ages.

Steve Cohen is amazing! Not only a talented magician - and mind-reader - but a great showman, as well. We enjoyed every minute! (The only problem is - that we continue to try to figure out just how he did those amazing things!) Go - and enjoy!

Enjoyed the show very much. Felt the seating was not the greatest, we were in the third row and had a hard time seeing things. Also, it says must be dressed (men in suits or sport jackets and women in cocktail attire), we carried this clothes just for this show then got there and found several men in sport shorts and kakhis and woman in casual clothes. If they are not going to adhere to their standards then they should change it. With the charging for baggage with the airlines the bringing of cocktail clothes for one evening is a nuisance.

Not the run of the mill entertainment. Steve Cohen is a great showman. He sets a classy mood and delivers plenty of oohs and ahhs. You are up close and personal to the magic and still can't figure it out!

When i received these tickets i was a bit wary. I am 16 years old and took 2 friends and my parents. The second I got there that all changed! The show was great with plenty of mouth-dropping tricks. By the end of the show everyone was just completely amazed. Great show for teenagers and up!

This was a wonderful way to spend an evening. The tricks were terrific and being in an intimate apartment setting enhanced the experience because we were so close to the action.

My husband and I attended Chamber Magic with another couple on Saturday, August 23 and we had a fantastic evening. The setting in the suite at the Waldorf Towers was opulent and historical and the requirement that everyone dress in cocktail attire added to the evening's enjoyment. I do agree that there should be better control of patrons while waiting in the lobby and when going up to the suite (some of those who arrived later pushed their way up to the front). However, I think Mr. Cohen is very aware of this and while we were seated in the third row, he openly invited and encouraged everyone to come up front to watch him up close. We all found him to be very entertaining (not at all rude as one reviewer stated) but he did reinerate that there were to be no photographs (as one person tried to take a photo) and that he would not answer any questions as to how he does his magic (good magicians will never reveal their secrets!). I have recommended Chamber Magic to other friends as at $60 a ticket, it is a very enjoyable evening and well worth the ticket price.
