We had a great time at the show - even though we were late (hey it was raining and the subway had problems) Some of the tricks I had an idea of how they were done but it was fun nevertheless. Steve Cohen was very entertaining and his line drawing picture does not do him justice! For a chance of doing something different in NYC this was great fun. A friend of mine suggested it - so it's getting good word of mouth! This is a good thing to do if you have people in who have seen everything else. Thankfully it's not that Criss Angel/David Blaine type of magic. We enjoyed the dress code - it made the evening a little more special and we went to the early show and had an excellent dinner afterwards at Olive's in Union Square. It was a wonderful night although a little transporation challanged!

Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Cohen's performance. Even as somewhat of an amateur magician myself, I was awed by the presentation and effect of his tricks. Outstanding performance - fun for all ages, and a bargain for the price of admission. Great alternative for an evenings entertainment rather than going to an overpriced Broadway show!

The evening was a surprise to my husband ( a former magician). The intimate atmosphere and Chamber style magic was a unique Manhattan experience. Meeting in the majestic Waldorf Astoria for drinks and appetizers beforehand, set the stage for a very interesting and impressive close up magic experience. A true gem in a city filled with a myriad of options!

WHAT A GREAT NIGHT - I AM SO GLAD I HEARD ABOUT THIS ON THE RADIO. FROM THE BEGINNING WE WERE MESMERIZED BY MAGIC AND MENTAL TELEPATHIC WONDER. THROUGH AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION THREE OF OUR GROUP WERE PERSONALLY ACTIVE IN WHAT SEEMED LIKE AN IMPOSSIBLE FEAT BY MR. COHEN. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOW STRONGLY ENOUGH. I PLAN ON GOING BACK AND TAKING MY KIDS.

My friend and I are not particularly enthusiastic about magic shows but this is a magic show with a difference! Steve Cohen is a real showman, so professional and entertaining; card tricks were amazing and his 'magic' teapot pouring different drinks was astonishing but for us the real treat was his ability to 'read' thoughts - as I said in my header, I know he is not magic BUT he is wonderfully clever at what he does! Should we return to New York we would absolutely do the show again.

The only negative comment would be that the room was very warm. Many people fanning themselves with the program. We did it as a surprise for my 2 grown children (36 & 32). They were Wowed!! One of the best evenings we've had in NY. By all means GO!!!!

we are still talking and trying to figure out all the different magic that we saw. Some of the tricks were excellent. My only complaint is that we sat in the back, Steve tried to include everyone, but its best to sit in the front.

We attended the show during a family vacation to New York City. We are still talking about the different tricks. Audience participation was fun and engaging. The time flew by! We took 2 teenagers and they enjoyed the show. We would highly recommend this show. The location of the show in the Waldorf Towers made the show up close and personal. This was a wonderful location.

Steve Cohen is a marvel, a national treasure. This was one of the most enjoyable, entertaining and amazing evenings I've had in a very long time. All three of us--a 30-something, a 50-something and a 60-something loved his show.

Mr Cohen provided an excellent mix of slight of hand, conjuring, and mind-reading to keep the audience mesmerized. The short program of various trick provided a great evening of parlor magic. The program was varied and had card tricks, slight of hand, mind-reading. Magic without smoke, saws or such. Lots of fun. The setting was very well appointed and intimate; very well suited to created the atmosphere of awe. My advice is not to show up to close to the time of the show -- to get a good seat in the front. This was birthday present for our 13 year old nephew and he loved it. Mr Cohen showmanship is high. So all in all it was worth the price of admission and you will have a good light-hearted time. It will also occupy days after as you try to figure out how he did some of the "magic". Come armed with questions and willing to be interactive.
