My husband and I were given tickets to the Chamber of Magic for our 5th anniversary. My parents wrote "here's to 5 magical years!" (which we thought was adorable). We had to plan far in advance because it books up so quickly, but we finally had our date and it was a wonderful night to remember. The ride up on the elevator, entering the private suite, the other guests all dressed, and then the illusions began! Our favorite was the tea kettle trick. I have no clue how he did it, and was absolutely mesmerized. This is a great treat for a local, a NY visitor, a holiday party, anyone who wants to do something special and unique. It's like taking a step back in time as you enter that parlor, and we'll remember our experience forever.

I had my 65th birthday with family and friends (6 in all attended this). Everyone was surprised since I did not tell them what they were doing on this evening. The response was fantastic. Everyone was thrilled with the evening I provided for them. I think the two people in our gathering who did not attend probably seemed to regret it. (My husband wont wear a tie!) Steve Cohen is really the best at this form of magic, by far superior to anything I have seen before. He is very entertaining not only with the caliber of his tricks but also just pleasant by adding a few details about the hotel and various people who have visited there and who have been in those rooms before us. The setting was excellent. If Steve comes near to where I live in the future I shall go again and see what else he has "up his sleeve"! Thank you all so much for making my 65th an exciting a wonderful experience.

This is one of the most amazing shows you will ever see. I am still shaking my head 3 days later. I sat in the front-row as to not miss anything (even though the room is small). The tricks Mr. Cohen does defies explanation. I strongly recommend this show to anyone. 90 minutes never passed by so quickly

We spent a week-end in NYC, went to a broadway play and then to see Steve Cohen. We both enjoyed his magic and mentalism and felt it was much more fun than the play we'd seen. We want to go again!

This show was highly recommended to me by a friend who hired Steve Cohen to perform at a very large, prestigious company event. He attended Chamber Magic as research prior to the event, and was astounded. His enthusiastic description of Steve Cohen and his performace were so vivid that I immediately booked tickets as soon as I got home from lunch, and then built a whole weekend in NYC around it. My husband is an amateur magician, and our children - 9 & 13 - love learning to perform magic as well, so I knew they would be thrilled by this opportunity. My husband and younger son sat in the first row, just inches from Steve's hands. My son has already told many people that "he's just the best magician I've ever seen in my whole life!" The entire event - from dressing up, to arriving at the Waldorf Towers and being sent up to the lovely suite where classical music is playing, to having our minds read- was a departure from the ordinary. Steve has excellent audience appeal, and is warm and funny, in addition to being highly skilled. He is truly living his childhood dream, and it shows. We will be back to visit and I've already recommended Chamber Magic to many friends and coworkers who travel to NYC.

4 women visit NYC every Labor Day weekend... always looking for something different and fun to do. Enjoyed this as much if not more than a broadway show. Highly recommend to anyone of all ages.

Steve Cohen is amazing! Not only a talented magician - and mind-reader - but a great showman, as well. We enjoyed every minute! (The only problem is - that we continue to try to figure out just how he did those amazing things!) Go - and enjoy!

Enjoyed the show very much. Felt the seating was not the greatest, we were in the third row and had a hard time seeing things. Also, it says must be dressed (men in suits or sport jackets and women in cocktail attire), we carried this clothes just for this show then got there and found several men in sport shorts and kakhis and woman in casual clothes. If they are not going to adhere to their standards then they should change it. With the charging for baggage with the airlines the bringing of cocktail clothes for one evening is a nuisance.

Not the run of the mill entertainment. Steve Cohen is a great showman. He sets a classy mood and delivers plenty of oohs and ahhs. You are up close and personal to the magic and still can't figure it out!
