we went as a family to steve's show. we were all mesmerized...the smaller venue made it so personal. you felt like you were at a small party. and he was performing just for you! my children ages 8-13 said it was the coolest thing they had ever seen. my husband and i couldn't stop thinking about how he did his tricks. his think a drink trick is still perplexing me...don't miss this show!!!!

The whole experience was terrific and I have to give you a little lead-in. It all started after seeing Steve Cohen in the WGN morning show. The act he did on the show struck me as amazing. I thought for several minutes trying to figure out how he did it. They announced the website after the segment so I wrote it down. I thought I would just check it out because it was so cool. The process was very easy and seemed very safe, so I continued. I made a call to my wife to see if something like this would be interested to her and the kids and minutes after, I ordered the tickets. As a family we got to dress-up and go down town which we don’t do that often. The show was great for all of us. The kids have been trying to read each others minds since we left. After telling other family members and friends about the time we had, we seemed to tell the one story at the end to all which sort of summed up the show. Steve was so amazing that the audience was stone quiet after the each act of the performance. Several times he said to the audience, “wasn’t that good.” There was no real applause until he said that because we were all so amazed and dumbfounded. I would recommend it highly, it was amazing!

After Steve's performance, we spent hours discussing plausible explanations for his feats. The only explanation we came up with was that everybody else in the room besides my wife and I were personal assistants to Steve ... and we doubt that could be true. Go to the show! You won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed the show and I think the show should perform at other hotel in NY and on Long Island. However, there is one thing I would like to mention, althought the magic show at Waldolf Towers was great. The air conditioner were not working and it was very warm and a little uncomfortable.

It's unusual in this day and age to enjoy an unmediated performance of anything--usually there's at least a microphone and often many special effects. This was fine, intimate parlour-side entertainment and my friends were entranced. We spent the rest of the evening dining and discussing the possible "how ever did he do that?!" in great good cheer.

We were bowled over by the evening. One of the most entertaining we've had in years. A wonderful setting, great audience involvement. We've been talking it up with our friends to go back as quickly as we can. We couldn't believe it when the show came to an end. We thought it had just started and we wanted more.

SEEING STEVE COHEN AGAIN- FIRST TIME IN FEBRUARY 2004- STILL REALLY ENJOYABLE BUT HONESTLY A LITTLE SURPRISED THAT THERE WERE NO NEW ''WONDERS'' TO THE SHOW. YES, IT IS STILL VERY FASCINATING AND I ALWAYS RECOMMEND THE EXPERIENCE, BUT I THOUGHT AFTER OVER A ONE YEAR PERIOD THAT SOMETHING NEW WOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED. MAYBE IT WILL TAKE THE THIRD VISIT!

My kids still can't believe that he made a brick appear. As stated in the description it is probably best for an 8 year old, nevertheless the three 6 year olds I brought were still pleased.

There should be a year-long waiting list just to get tickets. Steve Cohen makes Ricky Jay look like an amateur. This is by far the boldest, most entertaining and intelligent sleight-of-hand show I've ever seen. Even if you know how some of the "tricks" are done, it's like saying you "know" how Baryshnikov dances. Steve Cohen is pure talent.

Steve Cohen engaged our group of 11, incorporating many of us into his performance at different times. Be sure to include an hour after the show to discuss how he did all of his amazing tricks! This was a unique performance that we all enjoyed tremendously. Steve Cohen was personable and friendly with a real individual style. The setting of the Waldorf-Astoria suite was great. What a wonderful opportunity to get a glimpse of the lifestyles of the rich and famous! I highly recommend this unique and memorable performance!
