Escape to City Island – a neighborhood that time seems to have forgotten. This quirky New York town has been likened to a New England fishing village. Return to another time and explore the rich nautical and revolutionary history of this charming town. The community was once a major boat building and yachting center with four Yacht Clubs and also played a part in early Bronx movie-making.
Your journey back in time includes visits to:- A sea captain's house
- Johnny's Reef Restaurant
- The Yacht Clubs
- The trading site for the early settlers and the local Native Americans
- The pilot house
- The City Island Museum
