| The guide picked us up at the Grand Central Station in the city where the tour began. We took the Northern train to The Bronx. The walking tour itself was nice, had numerous stops and interesting to see the neighborhood.
Our group was disappointed that at the end of the tour we weren't given a guide to get back to the train area. It was explained that some people wanted to visit the Bronx Zoo or the Bontanical Gardens while in the Bronx. This is ok but I still believe for the ones that did not want to do this should have been taken back to the area to catch the train. Our group is not "big city" people and was not comfortable with following verbal directions. Perhaps even a map given out at end of tour would have been better.
We went to the Botanical Gardens and considered touring. We were not informed though that it was a twenty dollar charge. We had to ask three different cops/booth attendants to finally locate where we caught the train back to Grand Central Station. |

| I had a wonderful day exploring Arthur Ave, eating my way through all its glorious food - you will definitely not be hungry after this tour. Handmade cheeses and salami, olives, italian bakery delights and maybe the best pizza in not only the Bronx but NY!
The tour guide is a friendly local and very knowledgeable of the of area, making for an enjoyable and informative day. She provides you with documentation to navigate the area post tour with many recommendations on where to shop and eat, and just a short walk up the road is the Botanical Gardens and the Bronx Zoo. Take this tour, you will not be disappointed.! |

| I would recommend this tour. Went in with a group of friends and would recommend that a group go....Suzy is fun and if you're a fun group, you'll enjoy being with her.
The shops were great and most places gave you a bite to taste. Learned a lot about the history of Arthur Ave.
Basically, a good day with good friends, good food and good fun. Thanks! |

| I have wanted to see Arthur Av for quite some time. This was a great way to become acquainted with the neighborhood. Our tour-guide was very knowledgable about the area, and shared a lot of her insights. Our group was small with everyone very interested in every stop. This is only our second walking/eating tour in New York, but i am looking forward to many more. Thank You |

| Susan was very friendly and it was nice to be taken round by a local. The tasters were good - especially the cheese and I would definitely recommend the walk as a pleasant way to spend a morning. |

| The Arthur Avenue Walkabout with Susan was marvelous. Being my first real trip to NYC, I wanted to get a feel for the people who live there, not just the glitz. The stores, the people and the food were "delicious ". Susan was great fun and very considerate, thinking of all the details. I highly recommend walkabouts with Susan. |

| This tour gives a better alternative to a now tiny area used to be known as Little Italy in Manhattan, as well as a chance to venture out to another borough. Susan's commentary was interesting and the group of the day consisted of both the locals and the overseas visitors. Noshing part of the tour was definitely a plus. I would like to suggest the tour participants to pick up Metro-North Harlem Line's detailed timetable (rather than a small abridged version) from the information desk before the tour. It would provide the information on return train schedule if the tour participants choose to linger around Arthur Avenue, decide to explore the zoo or the botanical garden nearby. |

| our group which consists of mothers and daughters (ages 35-40) have gone on walking tours for the past 4 years. we loved seeing the bronx, but felt this tour was a bit unorganized. we were not told that we would have to pay an additional $9 per person for the train ride (don't mind that but it should be included in the price; so make the whole deal more). and if you do not want to include it, then have the tickets already purchased for us and we can pay the person back right then. this tour did not have nearly as much food as the other ones we have been on. only one kind of pizza, instead of several to sample, etc. susan was very nice and we would like for her tours to be a success. we went into one pasta place where they make their own and cut it right there (thought we would be sampling the pasta) but it was if we wanted to buy some. then we got back to the train station too late for the next train and had to wait over 30 minutes. she needs to watch the time so the tour ends in time for the train. thank you |
