| This tour gives a better alternative to a now tiny area used to be known as Little Italy in Manhattan, as well as a chance to venture out to another borough. Susan's commentary was interesting and the group of the day consisted of both the locals and the overseas visitors. Noshing part of the tour was definitely a plus. I would like to suggest the tour participants to pick up Metro-North Harlem Line's detailed timetable (rather than a small abridged version) from the information desk before the tour. It would provide the information on return train schedule if the tour participants choose to linger around Arthur Avenue, decide to explore the zoo or the botanical garden nearby. |

Susan of Susan Sez provided us with a wonderful, informative experience. After giving us some of the history of the Bronx Belmont section, Susan graciously brought us to many local specialty shops including the Arthur Ave. Market where we tasted everything from homemade sausages, fresh cheeses , breads, pastries and pizza to a lovely slice of Italian cheesecake at the walkabout's end. What a treat !!
During all of this we heard about the local trivia and visited some very noteworthy historical spots. In addition, we found out about several nice restaurants. I highly recommend this tour to all. |

| Despite the pouring rain the day of the trip, our guide and our fellow travelers were treated to a really enjoyable afternoon of "schmoozing with the locals". We've had the Arthur Avenue Cookbook for several years and on the tour we felt as though we were walking through a living version of the cookbook. We visited all the stores and met or saw most of the individuals and characters listed in the cookbook. We would highly recommend this tour expecially, since Susan seems to possess a joyous and encyclopedic knowledge of the neighborhood and the history of the bronx in general. She was greeted enthusiastically by most of the local businesses we visited and seemed to sweep us up in the lifestyle and activities as we toured the neighborhood, if only for that short time. |

| Susan was very personable and knowledgeable. She was very familiar with the tour area and able to provide information and stories relating to the neighborhood that extended beyond the food. The food samples were ample and delicious. Would highly recommend the tour to anyone considering it and will definitely suggest it to anyone making the trip to NYC. |

| I just moved to the Bronx and wanted get to know my new borough - specifically where the good places to eat and shop are. I had a marvelous time walking around and I felt like I met the food maven of the Bronx (very cool). Now I know where to go for the most decadent mozzarella, freshest egg-noodles, and access to essential pantry staples. I also learned a lot about the area's history as well as it's current neighborhood. Susan didn't make me feel (or look) like a tourist - which i really appreciated. I had a great time and would definately recommend it to others. |

| Susan was very friendly and it was nice to be taken round by a local. The tasters were good - especially the cheese and I would definitely recommend the walk as a pleasant way to spend a morning. |

| As "native" NYers, we had heard about Arthur Avenue, but never visited it. It was one of the most fascinating tours my family & I have ever taken. Living in NY & having Italian neighbors has well acquainted us with Italian food, but this food was so fresh & delicious! Suzie knew just the right places to take us to. The highlight was seeing mozzarella cheese freshly made. We stayed on Arthur Avenue after the tour returned to Grand Central Terminal & did some shopping of our own. |

| We had to pay extra (9,50 p.p.) for the train from Grand Central to the Bronx, which was an extra cost we did not expect. Our Metrocard was valid for subway and buses, but not for the train.
We walked around Arthur Avenue and surroundings, but apart from the food which was ok, we did not learn a lot about the Bronx. The info given was not very interesting. Consider it to be a food tasting tour, not a Bronx tour. |
