	We met ebullient Susan on the street corner (where else but in NY). She gave us some materials to look at (mostly for later), a bottle of water and our first taste of NY - chicken jerky. Just 4 of us walked around lower East NY, as Susan pointed out buildings and sites along with its history. We stopped in neighborhood shops - old shops - that made us also step back in time. We sampled the goodies of the area; candy, soda, donuts, hotdogs. It was a very enjoyable tour...lots of fun.
