Great way to get acquainted with Brooklyn...
Fri, Sep 18  10:00 AM acrossland Unspecified 30-39 Domestic Tourist(s) Other
We have been to New York (Manhattan), but have never been to any of the other boroughs. We decided that we wanted to visit Brooklyn, but not really knowing anything about it we were unsure where to begin. This was a great way to visit a lot of different areas in Brooklyn - Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights, Brighton Beach, Prospect Park South, Coney Island, etc. Paul provided information about the neighborhoods as well as historical background and now we have a whole list of places we'd like to return to in Brooklyn for our next trip. Thanks Paul!

This tour is a must for all travellers considering a trip to NYC. Paul Blair (Tour Guide) is really an incredible guy, with lots of knowledge of the local area. The pace of the tour is comfortable, with plenty of little great stops along the way... The information during the tour is delivered in a way that will have all listening for more!! See you again soon Paul!

From the vary first minutes of our tour it seemed that Paul was just an old friend showing you around town. Without a doubt the best tour we took on our vacation. Highly recommended.

A nice break

After a couple hectic days in Manhattan over the Easter long weekend it was a nice break to branch out and tour a different, quieter area of the big city and The Bountiful Brooklyn Tour was just what the doctor ordered. My girlfriend and Myself were fortunate to be the only people booked for this particular day so we got to have Paul, our tour guide, all to ourselves. Paul guided us through the wonderful neighborhoods filling us with such information that it felt as though he had lived in each of these areas himself. Hopping on and off the subway added to the 6 hour adventure with the climax being Brooklyn Heights and walking back to Manhattan via the Brooklyn Bridge. Thanks again Paul!

What a wonderful way to see Brooklyn!

We came to New York for a Swing Street Tour of Brooklyn. We easily found our way to the meeting place with the directions provided. Paul was both pleasant and knowlegable. The size of our group allowed him to be flexible and allow us to personalize the tour. We are looking forward to our next tour soon... Rick and Margaretha

As a native of Brooklyn, I had the opportunity of seeing things and places that I had not visited in over 50 years. I highly recommend this entertaining and informative walk. Paul Blair is an expert. Don't miss this.

Everything You've Wanted to Know about Brooklyn...

My wife and I had never been to Brooklyn but had read a lot about it. On our recent trip to New York City we decided to take the time to discover Brooklyn and used the web to find a walking tour. We signed up for the 4 hour Bountiful Brooklyn Tour and we were delighted with it. The guide had a thorough knowledge of the borough and we managed to see all the places we had read about, Brighton Beach, Coney Island, Brooklyn Heights, etc. We had lunch at a Turkish restaurant which turned out to be the culinary highlight of our trip. We ate at restaruants that were 6 or 7 times more expensive but the quality of this little neighbourhood diner could not be surpassed. My wife and I walked across the Brooklyn Bridge to get us in the spirit for the tour. The tour met or surpassed our expectations and at the end of it the tour guide presented us with a CD of jazz that has joined our music collection as a favourite.

Paul was a great guide and fashioned the tour more towards architecture which we enjoy. he shows you places to eat and some of the amazing cultural diversity that is Brooklyn. He is an affable pleasent guy in his fifties totally comfortable with the neighbourhood. I think i'd like him to show me Queens too which he can do

Walking + subway = the best way of sightseeing
Thu, Jul 26, 07   10:00 AM Hagerlof Male 60-69 International Tourist(s) Other
We have taken many tours in different countries when we have been transported in buses or vans. These tours have included a number of stops. The Brooklyn tour is the best tour we have taken during many years of travelling. Walking in interesting areas of Brooklyn together with a very well informed guide and using the subway between these areas is a much better way of sightseeing than to go around in a bus.

A great insight into this Borough

This tour proved that there is so much more to New York than Manhattan. Paul was a charming and knowledgable guide and showed us so many different sides to Brooklyn. Although a full day tour, the pace was fairly gentle, so suitable for all. I would highly recommend this tour.
