Paul gave a good overview of the different parts of queens. It is an interesting tour if you have never been to queens before or seen all the areas in queens. He gives you a brief insight into how different each locality of queens is from each other.

I really enjoyed my tour with Paul, the guide. It was like being taken around the city wby an old friend - I found it fun seeing a different side of the real NYC that the average tourist would probably not encounter otherwise.I saw the wonderful mix of people that live in Queens and also got to sample some other sights I had not seen before ( this is my 5th visit to NYC ). The tour was also nicely paced - I never felt hurried & had ample time to take the pictures I wanted, plus I got to sample Afghani food !

Terrific day in Queens

SwingStreet tours are ideal for those wanting to explore New York and make sure they see all the highlights in the area. Wanting to explore Queens a little further but not exactly sure where to start, I decided to book a guided tour with SwingStreets as last time I was in town I took the Bountiful Brooklyn tour with them and had such a fantastic day I knew I would not be disappointed. The Queens tour was a great introduction to the area, led by a friendly and knowledgeable local guide who has a passion for New York City and all its history, beauty, secrets and hidden treaures. The massively sized ChinaTown, the beautiful architecture, the original old diner where we stopped for coffee, the many different and fascinating ethnic neighborhoods. Photo opportunities abound, I came home with many wonderful photos capturing my day in Queens. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, it was both informative and entertaining, and provides an interesting insight into Queens. Definitely a highlight of my trip!

My friend and I had new experiences on this tour. Our leader was informative, flexible, and frlendly. We enjoyed new "tastes" in every way. Queen's is definitely a "United Nations." Thank you, Paul.

I wanted to get a sense of the the various communities of Queens and Paul did that by pinpointing specific neighborhoods to visit and walking around each while describing it. If, like me, you have a somewhat vague idea of what Queens is this is the tour to take. It really specifies the meaning of Queens being the most diverse county in America.

Get to see the REAL New York with a friendly local

This tour comes highly recommended to those that want to escape the tourist roundabout of central Manhattan and see the real New York. Paul is an enthusiastic and friendly native New Yorker who really knows his stuff - he will take you to places you would never have discovered on your own, telling you intriguing and facinating details about the areas along the way. The tour provides you with many photo opportunities - I got lots of great photos, leaving me with special memories of my visit to New York, and friends and family back home enjoyed seeing pictures of areas of New York that are off the beaten track and not usually accessed by tourists. We had a wonderful day together, including a fantastic lunch, Queens is such an amazing place, full of beautiful old buildings, history and as it is very multi-cultural, terrific eating places abound. Do not hesitate about booking this tour, it is worth every cent, I loved every minute of it and I'm sure that you will as well. (The tour is also a great introduction to the city, helping you to get your bearings and understand the subway system, making getting around while you're there a breeze.)

Paul Blair's insight to Queens

We, a family group, were guided by Paul Blair through a mosaic of cultural diversity. We peppered Paul with questions and were informed about the history, geography and cultural differences in Queens. Paul's flexible approach saw us go 'off the beaten track' to explore a wild west street of car repairs and sales. We enjoyed, and were well informed.
