This was my second charter of the "Tahoe Cruz" and the crew was once again friendly, helpful and absolutely on time to get the cruise started. Sailing up the west shore of Tahoe out of Tahoe City provides one of the best vistas you can get of the Tahoe basin. The boat is roomy for passengers and quite fast for a 50 footer. Taking control of the wheel is a great thrill for novice or seasoned sailors alike. I highly recommend this sailing charter for everyone.

| We have taken this cruise (the sunset one) two or three times previously and found it just great. This time, however, the weather was not good, and the lake very choppy, so it was really questionable whether it should have gone out. There were no other sailboats on the lake. I think the group had a good time - mostly men - but it was very different from the previous times. The only other thing I would mention is that it seems a little risky to have the passengers take the helm. It seemed as though they were experienced, but maybe not on Lake Tahoe, and the choppiness and swells made me a little concerned.
We have loved this opportunity to have a little sailing time on the Lake and glad you make that available. But I do think those things deserve some thought. |

Went 2nd Friday in September, weather was warm but cool with breeze, sunny, nice day for sailing. Needed jacket, but was nice enough for end of season. Captain Jim and Fro were accommodating, nice. Twenty passengers on board. Easy to find. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful time sailing on Lake Tahoe. The sky was blue, the sun shining, the breeze blowing. The crew was terrific and made sure that everyone had a safe and enjoyable trip. Even though we were at maximum capacity with the number of people, it didn't feel crowded and there was plenty of room to sit or stand. We had the opportunity to take the helm or just enjoy the ride. It was a perfect afternoon.

I had never sailed on Lake Tahoe prior to signing up for the Tahoe Cruz. The crew and Captiain were very helpful and nice and made sure everyone was comfortable. Fortunately we had some heavier winds that provided some terrific sailing!

My husband and I had friends visiting Lake Tahoe and we know that sailing is something they are interested in so we arranged for this two hour sailing and are so happy that we did. The captain and crewman were helpful, courteous, and helped make this a great and memorable day for all four of us. In fact, we plan to arrange for this trip next May when another set of friends will be visiting.

Don't be put off by the lady at the check in desk. The captain and the first mate were great and the sail was super. The first mate shared a lot of info about the area and the history. Would definitely do it again.

This was our first time on a sail boat, and we had a great time. There were only 15-20 people or so on the boat, which is small compared to other sailing cruises w/ 30+ passengers. That 2 captains were very friendly. Some of the passengers even took their luck at the wheel! Complimentary beverages were served. The only down fall was that we didn't make it as far as was stated. We are very familiar with the Lake and what is around it, so when we didn't make it as far down the southwest shore as described, we were a bit disappointed. Otherwise, the the money spent was well worth it.

We would recommend it but I would like to have had more narrative from the service providers as to what we were seeing. It was hard to hear because the engine was running. The wind was not favorable so we sailed very little on the trip.
