My wife and I were on our honeymoon to Lake Tahoe and had heard from a local that the sailboat cruises were not to be missed. Our experience with Tahoe Sailing Charters was a pleasure and we recommend it to anyone else thinking about sailing around Lake Tahoe at sunset. |

We had a little bit of car trouble getting to Tahoe but we made it, and we made the Sunset cruise ahead of time.
Seating on the boat was good (we weren't cramped), food was good and it was very comfortable out on the lake. The service was welcoming and easy-going. We sat on the heel side of the boat and stretched out and enjoyed the ride. We didn't have a lot of wind so it was a gentle sail for a modest distance. I was hoping we'd go further out in the lake, and I don't know what the normal range is, but given the amount of wind I'm not disappointed. It was a good, relaxing experience ... the views were spectacular and I would recommend to others. We would repeat again someday. |

My husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary of our first date with Tahoe Sail. Great captain and first mate! Nice wine and beers; generous and nicely presented appetizers. Gorgeous day! Everything was perfect!
I would tell people to wear tennis or walking shoes as we saw several ladies in flip-flops, which could be a little iffy getting on and off the boat.
Would recommend this to anyone who would like a relaxing experience and a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. |

A perfect way to wind down the day and start the evening...
Kevin, the 1st mate, was a hoot - entertaining and efficient.
Winds were relatively calm so it was a pretty mellow sail. But the weather was warm and beautiful and we had a great time.
