Our group really enjoyed the cruise. The people working on the boat were very laid back and friendly and the other customers were also very nice and fun to talk to. Also, we loved the artichoke dip! It was a great experience and we would most definately do it again!

Our Captain Mike was a delightful sailor to converse with. The winds were perfect and the setting outstanding. Drinks and snacks were great and as promised. All in all it was worth the price and a great family outing.

We would recommend it but I would like to have had more narrative from the service providers as to what we were seeing. It was hard to hear because the engine was running. The wind was not favorable so we sailed very little on the trip.

We were looking forward to this trip as it came highly recommended by Frommer. However, there were far too many people on the boat and it was neither relaxing nor exciting. Very expensive for what it was. In hindsight we would rather have hired a boat ourselves.

This was a nice cruise along the lake shore, but since there was very little wind most of it was motorized and not as exciting as we would have liked. Make sure to pick a reasonably windy day if you're looking for a bit of actual sailing.

We did this as an anniversary event with another couple and had a great time. The crew was great and the others on the boat were there to have fun.

The cruise itself was nice. The boat was also nice. We were disappointed that we were way out in the middle of the lake and not closer to the shoreline so that we could see some things listed in the advertising. We were also diappointed that there was no narration whatsoever - of the boat or of what we were seeing. The description of the tour had given us the idea that we would be hearing aobut the things we would be seeing. The drinks were plentiful, but it would have been nice if there were a few snacks as well. It was a beautful day and nice to be on the water so in our opinion, our group of 7 enjoyed it, but it could have been much better with a little bit of effort.

The boat was packed full of people, we had to pick a seat and then stay there. It would have been nice to walk around the boat. But it was a beautiful sail, the service with drinks was great. The sail was a nice amount of time and a great activity. I think everyone had a great time.

We decided to go on this sail because it seemed romantic and fun. It met all our expectations. Captain Mike was nice and informative, and his first mate was very efficient and pleasant. The Lake was gorgeous and you had an amazing view all the way out to the turn around point and back. We went on a Wednesday so there was a regatta, and we got to see more sailboats on the Lake. I would highly recommend this sail to any couple. I would suggest if you want a stable seat, go to the back of the boat! We had a seat in the back corner and we could see everything, we didn't have to worry about the tilting because of the sails...or the sail changing direction, we could just sit back and enjoy. Well worth the money!

Even though we are native to the Reno/Tahoe area, we neglect to spend time on one of the most beautiful treasures in the world, Lake Tahoe. I can't think of a better way of getting to know Tahoe better than to spend time sailing on her. The two hours sailing on the lake was relaxing and magnificent.

A Major Highlight of our Trip Daytime Cruise on Lake Tahoe

This sail was a highlight of our two week vacation all around CA. Our 3 daughters (11 to 16 yrs old) loved it. At times thrilling to non-sailors like us and other times serene. For us a very special event to sail on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Other familys on board had younger kids and, although they had a good time. they needed to be held at all times to keep them safe. So you can take the little ones, but you will need to give them some attention.
