Tahoe Sailing Charters

My wife and I went out for the afternoon and it was beautiful. There was no wind, obviously not the captains fault, but he had the sails up to make us feel like we were sailing anyway. The crew was great. They had complimentary Beer, Wine, soda and water that they were serving throught the 2 1/2 hour cruise. We motored all along the North shore and the Captain & crew pointed out landmarks and points of interest along the way. This is a great way to get out and relax for an afternoon. I would highly recommend it!

You will not be disappointed. We had a fantastic time.

The staff was friendly and informative. The captain even offered our kids the chance to steer the boat for a spell. The views were fabulous. Simple and relaxing two hours.

We had a great sail on Lake Tahoe. We did the sunset cruise. The captain was great, and the deckhand Keven was awesome. Would def recommend if you like sailing.

The Tahoe Cruz is the best!

Great boat and captain... an excellent day on the water. The Marina is a little hard to spot. If you are driving from South Tahoe and you get the the Safeway you just passed it!

Boat was nice, Captain Jim was great, but there was not much wind the day we went. If you go, make sure you sit on the starboard side of the boat back toward where the Captain is located. That way you will get a better look at the expensive houses on the lake on the outbound cruise and be able to hear the Captains narration about what you are seeing.

Staff was great and the cruise was very well organized.

When we checked in we tried to use a $5 per person coupon that stated that if you had made previous reservations you qualified. The clerk that checked us in said that because we made the reservations through you we didnt qualify. the cruise was very nice and the capt. and first mate were outstanding.

A perfect way to wind down the day and start the evening... Kevin, the 1st mate, was a hoot - entertaining and efficient. Winds were relatively calm so it was a pretty mellow sail. But the weather was warm and beautiful and we had a great time. thanks to Captain Mike and Kevin for a great couple of hours.

With fewer than 25 people on board, and just the sound of the wind and the waves, this two hour sail cruise is a great way to enjoy the lake. The captain and first mate made the trip pleasant for us all, and the views are great. Note, however, that the sailboat does not include a visit to Emerald Bay. This sail was a highlight of our trip to Tahoe.

I go on an afternoon sail at least once each year with Tahoe Sailing Charters and have always enjoyed the time on the water. The boat is comfortable, the captain and crew friendly, and the experience -- always the best.
